On July 12, 2011, Fresno County unanimously passed an ordinanceto ban dispensaries and sharply restrict cultivation. It requires a "Medical MJ Cultivation Business License" for anyone seeking to grow in the county. Cultivation can only occur only in a secure, locked, enclosed structure in industrial zoning districts if 1,000 feet from any school, park, recreation area, sports facility, adult business, church, etc; maximum # of plants is 99. CalNORML legal committee attorney Bill McPike has filed suit against the ordinance, stalling its enactment. On May 18, 2012, a judge denied McPike's request for a preliminary injunction; he awaiting a ruling so that he can appeal.

Do I also need a "Tomato Cultivation Business License"

Since when is growing a plant to be consumed by your own person considered a business? Hmmmmm.......

Looks like since 2011....

Think about it though, why would you need a license to grow 2-3 plants for personal use? You don't!
BUT! If you get this license you can LEGALLY grow up to 99 plants... Sounds like a deal.. I know for a fact Noone here myself including smokes 99 plants a harvest.. Of course they're going to smack you with a "buisness" paper to sign.. Who's goin to profit off of 3 plants?

You do need business papers to grow even 1 plant I think. Idk. They can kiss my ass though. That's what I DO know. Yeah this ordinance is old. I just got out of incarceration a year ago and I learned about all the BS ordinances around here. There is a lawsuit going on right now I believe. The counties and cities shouldn't override the state guidelines.

Yeah I feel you. But so many people grow off grid. The only reason why people would get that license is too grow 99 plants.. Other wise people will be kissing ass. Patients have a 5-30 plant limit so, hell yea

so legalization trades one set of problems for another. legal or not, either way, you're getting fined or going to jail!

this is close to the model to operate a dispensary in a couple of progressive cities in Michigan, except we have a State law that only allows for a max of 72 plants to grow, and you have to have 5 legal patients with accepted paperwork and mmj cards to do that.

you guys have no idea how good you have it. most of the country would kill to have a quarter of the compassion there is out west.

sorry, all out of sympathy for Cali and the new "legal" States guys and gals.

you got it made. this is a non-issue, except for some paperwork and maybe a license fee that we have here too.

But you can't grow outdoors PERIOD out here in my county. That's the problem. It gets 105+ degrees here and it is very costly to keep a grow room cool. Not all patients can afford to grow indoors. And some just prefer outdoor growing more because it helps with certain conditions.

Bro... 99 plants would pay for that room... And put your kids through collage! You're given a Gold Mine

And something my drug dealin daddy always told me was, you gotta spend for the dough to make the bread ya smell me?
