im leaving on vacation for 9 days. i'm going to transplant my plants into 2 gal pots with(half soil and half coco fiber mix with perlite) the day before i leave and flip them over to 12/12. they're about a foot tall in 3"x3" pots right now. they're under a 600w hps temps from 72-78. will my plants survive? i need to know how long you guys have left you plants without water and tips so i do not come back to a dead crop thanks

you can always get yourself a cheap water pump from a fish store and some hosing and a timer.. and a big bucket .... put the pump in the bucket and hook up the tubing so that when the pump turns on, it will water your plants for you.. you may need some bamboo stakes and ties to keep the hose from moving around at all and thus creating a mess... you will just have to play around with the timer length to figure out how long to leave it on for so that the plants will get enough water to live through your vakay.. i would make sure i got all of the bugs worked out of it before you left to make sure that it works great well before you left so that you won't have any doubts over its affectiveness for when you do leave..

i was thinking about that as well but i dont have much money to spare ive put a lot into the grow already. i only feed about every 3 to 4 days and they're in these tiny pots so i figure they will much longer than that in the bigger 2 gal pots but i want to be safe. do you know how much the pumps run for?

I used to work at a pet store... the pumps are cheap - esp the small ones ($20 tops). and you can pick up a premade drip system from a gardening store for roughly $10
