I have the opposite issue- i get going and can’t stop- oh there is another one that needs to be removed- plants always come back strong- they tolerate it and they are much happier at the end of flowering. When I get lazy and don’t keep up- I end up with a quagmire of buds around the perimeter as the colas get heavy - and I have to thin it out anyway. Better to do it early so your buds can get more light and air circulation for the duration.

I did it! I did it! I cut branches off my girls! The last pic I have is of my stocky short girl lefty. She doesn't have skinny branches a lot of her buds are on bigger branches, I'm not sure if I should take from the last pic or remove more fan leaves?

Now that you have finally cut some off if you can tie some of the branches to open it up som and give more light into the lower stuff helps if not just use all that lower small stuff for edibles. These plants can take an ass whooping and bounce back like one of those kids blow up punching bags they just never stop coming back up lol. You will get the hang of it after a few crops and find what works best for you. Good job on making it this far now just get them to the finish line and enjoy the rewards.
