I need start up help

Hey yall wonderful grow heads?
Im new 2 this "growing thing"
but im motivated 2 see how far
i can take my new "hobby".
Im practicing with some reg street
seeds b4 i spend any major gwap on
da real deal (high quality beens).
I got a handful that have been sitting in
water 4 bout 2 days now.
But the street seeds im using
apper 2 be in good shap but them
darn things wont sprot a prayer
and are not germinating at all. And untill
i feel comfortable knowing i could start
this simple prosses i wont go any further
into 2 my setup 4 some good good.

Seeds are only viable for a certain period of time, which varies depending on the conditions they're stored in. Seeds you buy from GOOD seedbanks are turned around fast or given away as freebies before they get too old and start to have really bad germination rates.

In other words if you have enough experience to dump some seeds in a cup of water you're ready to move on to buying seeds. There are even places that sell packs for $20, so you won't break the bank if you screw other things up. Just buy a couple packs then, always germinating about 10 at a time since half can be males and some can be runts.

Is this going to be a cheap grow?? the reason why I ask is because you need light, light is #1 ,You can go cfl's(cheap) or go MH or HPS , I recommend HPS, I would get this light here

it really is easy as 123, but yes it is easy to spend money on this hobby!! If you are going a cheap way, Many people out have cheap setups and they look great! Your choice bro

Exactly.

As long as you have the money to to get the right setup then it is not as complicated as say brain surgery.

Go ahead and buy some seeds! I would reccomend something like Bubbelicious or White Rhino at first because those are the EASIEST plants I have ever grown.

They are practically bomb proof and the WR especially did not require a lot of time or nutrients.

Seriously, don't go cheap and cut corners on your grow. You will end up with more problems than you started with.

I think you will probably be like most and get somewhat addicted to it and end up spending the cash in the long run. So you might as well start off strong!

I know for me as a first time grower, I went the closet route and I found everything that I needed around my house. ended up spending only 20 bucks on supplies. but ya u came to the right place riu is great for newbies like us

yeah, it's like anything else, there's the temptation to go out and drop mad loot without even needing to. like the guy who gets into video and drops like 30,000 and doesn't even know how to even work a camera! If you're talking few plants like that and this is your first grow, then don't drop too much loot, seriously.

it ain't brain science BUT it's still science and for growing bud, there are rules that if you break them, you will be punished by the weed gods!!

but there are plenty of dope heads on this site to get you through your grow(s) with good seeds man, no need to experiment. riu is here.

The temperature in those pictures seem kind of high... 85F, 92F. Get some fans in there.

well i cant do nothing bout the temps in the day time
i have 2 fans i run 24-7
so i take advantage of it at night were temps are 70-84 degrees
