I need some help, COBs vs Boards etc...

Wait I'm getting threads mixed up, I thought you had the samsung strips, I'm not sure about the eb strips as I've never seen one in person. If you post a close up of connector we might could tell you.
 
Are you pushing in hard enough? From what I reading there are like the samsung strips and 18ga is about the biggest they will take.

There are solder pads on them.

With the push-in terminals, make sure your wire is stripped back far enough, and make sure the insulation is not too thick - it should fit into the hole. Strip it back about 3/4 of the length of the terminal. Press it in until you feel a little resistance - don't stop - keep pressing until it won't go further. It should be locked in place.

ah yeah thank you buddy, the wire i bought has a silicone wrapper and just folds in before i can put enough pressure, i'll get some in a little while and finish her up :)
 
Finished! got a little busy so it took longer than i wouldve liked but it's all together. 46x44 frame 20 strips roughly spaced 3cm apart, looks silly as hell over a single plant lol
