Hey guys, right now my seed is germinating and I'm ready to put him in the rockwool cube and I am just wondering if anyone would help me out and explain what is the best way for me to do that. Some people told me to soak the seed in the rockwool cube in water mixed with the nutrients. So, how would I go about putting the seed in the rockwool cube and then putting them under 24 hour light so they can grow and make me happy. lol Thanks everyone.

I dont use rock wool ( I dont like it ) but you should soak it in PH water 5.5 - 6.0 first. Then aftter you soaked it for some time take it out and shake it like you were about to roll some dice. You do this to get most of the water out of the rockwool to prevent drowning your seedling. You should wait untill you see the first 4 leaves then add your nutrients @ 1/4 strength.

first off I hope your not going to put (him) in the RW cube! lets hope its a she lol!
K does the seed have a tape root? if so pull apart the top of the cube and place
the seedling WITH THE TAP ROOT DOWN in the cube. make sure the cube stays
moist, for lighting T5s work well. guess thats sumes up how to place a seed in a
RW cube..................................................................................peace!!

Thanks for the advice beaver. How do I get the 5.5-6.0 PH reading? Is that just how it should come out of the tap water? I have a PH meter that I can use, but I just want to make sure I have the right PH level. So, I want to soak the rockwool and dry it like dice before I put the seed in there, correct? Then, I just want to water it just to keep it damp but not soaked when I'm sprouting it. Does that sound about right?

take the cube put it in a bowl of water put cube in the water and test the PH after the cube has soaked for
a bit then add PH down or up depending on the ph reading you get, once you get the 5.5 to 6.0 ph reading
and its stablize then you can use the RW cubes

If you are using tap water let it sit out for 24 hours to evaporate the chlorine. unless you are using reverse osmosis water ( i recommend unless you have great tap water). Take a sample of whatever water you are using and check the PH, add PH down or PH up to reach desired PH level. Dont "dry " the cube by shaking the water out of just shake it a few time to get most of the water out. Then you can top feed it with PH water until roots start drinking water.

Ok, now the only other question I have is what I put my rockwool cube in the tent on? Do I just leave it on the bottom by itself or should I put it on a small plate or bowl or something?

When I take the rockwool cube with the seed in it and put it in the tent, should I just put it on the floor or should i put it on a plate or bowl or something and put it on the floor of the tent.

yah use a tray or a rubbermaid bin works well! that way you can put alittle extra water to keep them moist.
in that tent keep the humitity up 60 to 70%

Also, can I do 2 plants in 1 pot or do I need 1 pot per plant? I'm using the Power Grower Eco Complete.

YOu can do 2 plants in one pot , i dont personally grow this way because if one gets sick so does the other one. If you do decide to do it keep it the same strain.
