I need some advice re: Growing Female Seeds C99

I've read a few grow guides, but I've still got some questions. I'll be using a 150 watt HPS and the plan is to have a pair of C99 side by side, each no more then 30 inches tall. Here is what I need to know:

When did you first begin to administer fertilizer? Veg period in this case will last 10 days before 12/12.
How much fertilizer did you use, what strength (quarter, half, etc.), and how often?
What sort of yield enhancing method (topping, FIM-ing, LST, au natural, etc.) do you recommend most?
Any particular phenos to look out for?

Thank you all so much for everything. <3

1. after second set of leaves come in depending on medium, (soil can go a few weeks without ferts)
2. people go in terms of ppm or ec but i use .7ppm and if your not in soil start at 150-200
3.id top or lst cindy
4. candied pinapple. my other is rotten fruit but they still got a few days so no smoke report yet

I fricken love the pineapple cut. I don't think weed gets much better than that. I have knocked out so many people with it. A lightweight will literally freak the fuck out on C99.

Very nice! I will keep an eye out for the pineapple pheno.

Also, I forgot to specify: I'm using a 3-1 mix of Fox Farm Happy Frog to shredded coco coir for the grow medium.

It should pop up fairly often. Id also wait 2 weeks or so or until the leaves start turning slightly yellow to nute up.

mook: just great lol I have absolutely no tolerance right now...should be a fun test :P is it just like an upper ? or would u say its more trippy in nature. I know some people "trip" when their heart starts to speed up lol but i consider a trip at least a minor psychedelic experience. opinion?

Here is another question that has recently popped up: I pre-germinated seeds, stuck them in soil-filled coir cups when they got visible tails, covered them over with a thin layer of soil and waited, same as I always do. In the past, all other seeds have produced sprouts within 24-36 hours. It has been 4 days and only one seed has sprouted. Should I go ahead and germinate my backup seed (I have 3 C99 seeds altogether) in order to have the needed working pair for my next project, or should I give the slowpoke a couple more days?

Is it possible you buried them too deep? I might gently move some of the soil off to see if there is something trying to break through.

Went and checked.. nope, nothing trying to break through. I saw the top of the seed so I placed a tiny bit of soil over it, just enough to cover. I didn't see the taproot but by now it has (hopefully and probably) gone down farther into the mix.

Best way to get a good yield on Cindy is SCROG.

Hopefully dude your seed as gone down a touch before it popps up.

as for feeding 0.7ppm is nothing i think he ment 70ppm who knows..

I personaly use richer soils and just ad nutes in flower. I get above average yields that way to

Sounds like you planted with taproot facing down. If that is the case, the taproot sometimes takes a bit more time curving back around to go down before it starts pushing the seed up.

.7ppm or .7ec? .7 ppm, I think, is way, way, way too low.

Let us know how it goes man, I'm very interested in this C-99 as well

Just wanted to give an update and ask a question:

Ultimately out of 3 seeds only 1 survived to adulthood. One of them just never germinated at all (I gave it 2 weeks, checked, never so much as cracked a tail. Bummed, but sometimes these things just happen), another germinated but died (my own fault; I was starting them under a 23 watt CFL, the lamp tipped over one afternoon, one cotyledon got singed and the poor thing just never recovered), and the survivor.. well..

This may be without a doubt the most unruly and chaotic plant I have ever grown in my life. Even taking bagseed into account. I vegged the survivor for 14 days from seed, she got to about 6 inches tall, I topped her down to 4 inches, flipped to 12-12, and at present date (Day 53) she is 24 inches tall. This is even with pinching stems AND a case of spider mites it took nearly a month to eradicate. She nearly tripled in width as well, grew branches from here to kingdom come, and has budsites ranging from the size of average marbles to the size of my pinkie on every. single. branch.

Sadly I don't have a camera or I would definitely include pictures. She is beginning to smell like vanilla and pineapples (she only began having a notable scent within the last few days) and some of her hairs are starting to brown and recede. Now here is my question: For those of you who have experience with this pineapple-vanilla phenotype, how many days did it take your plant to finish? I can deal with not having the 7-8 week finisher that Attitude advertised, but I want to know how long it will actually take.

That's weird about the spider mites and C99. I had 4 plants in my tent when I grew my Female C99, and it got spider mites. Weird thing: none of the other plants had them.

I've got some Cindy plants going right now too. Mine that is in flower has been a prefect plant for me,and looks stunning. I've read all over that Cindy is supposed to get cut at about day 52-53, and I always count from the first signs of flowers( though others will disagree this is how I feel I get the best results). So I'm planning on cutting mine next weekend which will be right about 52 days. Mine doesn't have tons of smell unless you rub a leaf or bud, then its real fruity and sweet, perhaps some pineapple, but I think more grape-fruity It really reminds me alot of the way my White Widow smells, but the WW has a bit of spiciness like spiced gum drops. I took a sampler off the Cindy last night, one of the lower branches was bent so low I thought it might snap so I took it off to test in a couple days when it dries.
