i need some advice on starting off please help....

I am currently in trhe proccess of starting my own crop.
wat is the best way to get the seeds to sprout.
i was thinkin off wrappin them in a moist towel for few days is this the way to go??
also roughly how long will it take before i get sum good sizd buds?
they are goin to be outdoor too.
also can u suggest some good growth hormones and nutrients and when do i add them?
and i am livin in australia so wen would be the ideal time to plant?
someone help lol weed is scarce here and i hangin or a cone

some people use the paper towel method with success, others use soak them in a glass of water until the crack and show a tap root and then plant them. I personally use jiffy expanded peat pellets to germ seeds that way I don't have to mess with the seed with it is real young and fragile with the root sticking out. I just put the seed in after expanding the pellet in water and put them in a tray once they have all germed and grow a set of leaves then you can just plant the peat pellet in the ground or whatever container you want to use.

I use Fox Farm Liquid nutrients (Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom).

If you grow outdoors then your at the mercy of the seasons when it comes to flowering, the plant wont start to flower until the days get to about 14 hours of day light or less. once they start to flower it will take 8-14 weeks for them to finish up depending on what strain you grow (sativa's take longer to flower and are tall stringier looking plants while indica plant strains are shorter and more compact and flower quicker).

for germanation i very lightly score seed with sand paper
soak in glass of water for 12 not more than 24hrs
than put in moist paper towel wraped in plastic.
put in warm dark placecheck every 4-6 hrs if possible
i then plant in soileess mix in 500 mil plastic beer cup after drilling holes in bottom for drainage
i ggow the little seedlings in house for about 3weeks under flo lights ,than slowly iatrduce them to the strong bright sunshine of the out doors

I just throw mine in a glass of water for up to 3 days. If it hasn't cracked in 3 days I don't use it.

Then i put it 1/2 inch deep in soil and keep it moist.

Don't give it any nutes until it is 4 weeks old and then only 1/4 strength.

I have a Darwinian attitude when it comes to gardening. The plants have to want it too.

Good luck. Always do at least 3 in case one dies or you get males or hermies. You don't want to be growing for months only to get a male and it's your only one.
