Is there no difference between a true hermaphrodite and environmental herm?

All the stuff I've read on says they are different. A true shows mixed sex from early flower and environmental doesn't.

This genetic test says they can test for true but not environmental. What makes the distinction between the two?

Yes it means forcing the plant to exhibit hermaphrodism, an important genetic expression cannabis uses to survive. The nice thing about a seed produced by herming is they are all female, although they are at higher risk of herming. So it's a mixed bag but well worth it because you know all the seeds are female.

With regulars you know you will probably see 50% males. If you are a little patient you can use an open table pollination and cross several males with several females this will produce all the seeds from that line you will ever need to find a jackpot pheno.

Although you get less smokeable return on a seed crop what you have is just as potent.

I have a blue dream, HSO I think, that hermed a little on the first run and I didn't notice. I got a few dozen seeds out of the lower crap. Every one I've popped has been better than the first one, larger and frostier. I've been cloning the last one for months now and not one herm since the first one. Well worth the pack.

I've heard that cloning reduces the chance of hermies, but it could be bro science. Pretty sure I read it on a breeder web site.
