That's the kit I would get. Did you order the xw, the xl, or standard? I'd go with the xw for a 2.5x2.5 . ( https://growerslights.com/collectio...hting-group-260-watt-xw-quantum-board-led-kit ) but any of them will work out great.

3000k qb 288 v2 is indeed the right choice for full cycle.

Also those t5s could take you through veg so don't worry about it so much.

i got the xw 260 3000k, i think the xl is just a wider panel, my tent is 2.5 x 2.5 x 6 ao should be planty of light i believe

Heatsink size and spacing. The xw is extra wide is square and fits 2 boards, xl is extra long rectangular and fits 3 boards. And the standard is rectangular and fits 2 boards.

So i ordered the hlg, its going to take them a few days to buld it, then send it so not expecting it until the 11th or 12th of this month, is it ok to keep using my platinum led with a broken fan until that time?

also would two 14 watt t5 cfls keep the plants alive until that time? or am i going to just have to keep using the broken fan led until then?

lol called the guy at advance platinum, as soon as i mentioned how the fan broke off conpletely and that it looked like a clean break ( which suggessts to me it was of bad quality ) the guy i spoke with quickly said hed send me a new fan i could put back into the light by myself, this saving the time if i were to send it back and have them fix it L.O.L. motherfucker for 520$ for a damn blurple chinese led dude should be driving to my house and fixin it his dam self. i told him thanks anyways but im returnjng it to amazon, i just wanted confirmation the fan laying on top of the led board wasnt going to cause an eletrical fire somehow. anyways, my quantum board should be here in two weeks, so going to continue using the platinum, and will end up FIMming or topping or doing something to make up for the extra veg time. time to just hurry up and wait....

ok you guys helped me out a ton on the led light, got another question though, can you recommend a good water filter? im lookig for quality, something that ill be able to use for multiple grows, any suggestions highly appreciated thank!!

Good choice. The XW allows you to add another board and a larger driver if your needs increase.
