Ugh! Not generally recommended and if it's all you can get then you need to add about 25% perlite to it so the plant's roots can breathe. If that's a seed on top it should be 1/2" under the surface so the light and air exposure doesn't kill it.

Either get better media or perlite to mix up with the MG dirt and put your seeds into that.

Some study materials for you. I suggest Cervante's basic manual to start.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

:peace:

ive merged all 6 of your damn threads together dont spam my forum please
You done gone and irked Sunni, thats a mistake!
LOL, now 3 threads in 6 hrs cooking on "need to buy seeds, want to order seeds, need help buying seeds"
You need to learn patience, before growing any further. Maybe start with beans or wheat to get the basics

Might as well pile on in this abortion of a thread that seems to have garnered some attention from many corners of this forum! But not the kind of attention people want.

I'm any case, Bhodge92, it looks like you may have topped one of your side branches, maybe not. It's hard to tell at that angle. Any more pictures?

Looks like a good spot. I don't cut mine down quite that low. I don't see the branches yet, but hopefully they will start growing there in their usual spots.

It's hard to tell if you cut into those branch nubs or not. Even if you did, the lower branches will grow instead. Next time cut just a little higher. I like to wait until I can see the branch nubs and they are big enough to cut near them without messing them up.

I think those branches you're seeing are on the next lower node. The field of view is compressed and we are looking almost straight down.

Looks like OP topped a very tiny leader on the main cola. I usually wait until it's a bit longer, and leave more of a stub, to avoid damaging the branch apexes.

But again, they doesn't really matter.

Yeah I usually do as well...worst case scenario it will have a FIM affect if he didn't remove every last bit of the tip off.
