I need help!

ok so here's the deal, i am new at this indoor planting stuff. Can anybody tell me if i can use hps or mh lights from beginning to end?
Or do i have to start with something else for the vegetative state?
Also, how big must the area be for one or two plants?

Here is the breakdown for the most part.

If you are only going to use one light the entire time, most people and myself would say HPS. You could use Metal Hallyde but you will get differen't results. HPS is excepted as the one you want.

On how much area do you need. You can grow one plant or 99 in a 4x4 area. It depends. Do you want big tall plants, bushy plants, just top nugs? A closet setup?

Generally One 12x12 area would be good for each plant, but like I said it really depends on what you want to do. Are you growing OG or Blueberry. One wants to be 7 feet tall, and wants 70 days to flower, the other 3 feet and 50 days.

Answer this, is space a concern? Is the number of plants a concern? What is your goal, quantity for sales, personel smoke, or quality?

Space is the only problem.
I want to use a growbox but i cannot order one because they do not send it
to where i stay.
Any suggestions?

You can get away with limited space and light, just make sure you have some in and out take for the air. Also make sure you have a thermometer.

If you are going to grow in a really small area, I would go with a T5, they make both spectra for them. They make a 2 foot long 4 and 8 bulb. Look into them. I would use a good soil also, frog or fox farms etc. . . just for ease of use. Less to deal with. I would want a 12x12 area for each plant, but depending on how high they can grow, maybe more can fit into that foot print. You could do 3 plants really easily under a 2 foot t5.

Of course the more light and area, the more bud to smoke!
