Time will help get your buds bigger . From the looks of it, they won't be done in 1 week, so just ignore what the breeder said. It sounds like you're trying to rush her to be done by week 8

You cannot make a plant be done when you want it to be done. Only the plant can decide that. If you started growing a plant and had a set date to harvest in mind, you will most likely be disappointed with your yield and quality. Plants finish when plants finish. End of story.

Im not rushing her i am not in a hurry the thing about the deadline was from the description of the seeds from the shop, on the package sayed from seed to harvest 8 weeks

hey littlehorn! whered you buy the seeds?

and the description that the breeders give is the bare minimum and should be taken with a grain of salt. let the plants tell you; we can see that they arent ready yet, so give em a few more weeks. its better to wait a extra week or two to get the better bud as opposed to the faster bud.

good luck!

They're only in the first or second wave of flowers. I'd guestimate another 4-6 weeks till maturity, judging by the look of them now.

You can harvest at 8 weeks of course, but you'll end up with half the weight, and a pretty light/disappointing smoke. Set your new deadline a month - 1.5 months from now, and you'll be glad you waited.

keep them nice and green and support them, it's all you can do.

once they start to get a bit of a lean on the yield will be hurt, bamboo canes will support the fat buds.

These plants are no-where close near finishing. Side bud structures are only 1-2 weeks into development. I would allow a further 4-5 weeks for this. It will reward you with an extra ounce or two.

Breeders harvesting times I believe are given for plants grown under pristine conditions. Many factors can and will slow down flowering.

Are you light on Phosphorus? The leaves look to have a blueish/grayish look to them?
Severe phosphorus (P) deficiency during flowering. Fan leaves are dark green or red/purple, and may turn yellow. Leaves may curl under, go brown and die. Small-formed buds are another main symptom.
Phosphorus deficiencies exhibit slow growing, weak and stunted plants with dark green or purple pigmentation in older leaves and stems.

there is no 'deadline'. The finishing time is basically marketing hype. Think if something takes 11 weeks to flower they aren't going to say 11 when the competition says 9. Same with thc claims

It's impossible to have an accurate harvest time the seed-harvest deadline by the breeder is more of a guideline and clever marketing. everyone wants big buds in less than two months! but these plants tend to be kinda sporadic so you may be looking at 10 weeks. My autoflower went past the 8 week deadline by 2 weeks and even then I probably coulda let it go for another week.
