I think the worst that can happen is that your plant will consume / take up more water thru the roots. Plants are like any living thing in this world. When its dry you get thirsty to rehydrate. One thing for sure is you won't have to worry about mold of bud rot when you go into flower cycle. I have the recerse problem. WAAAAAY to much humidity. If I turn off my dehumidifier it will shoot up to 75-85% humidity. You must be in the S.W. region or extreme northern region....I guess??

Now what I am saying is based on simple deduction and not sound scientific knowledge on the subject. ...jmo

it all depends on the stage of growth what humidity level you should be looking for throughout the grow.
it varies.
to raise it have a few open bowls of water near the plants and under the lights.

I live in a real low humidity area and it's caused me a lot of problems this grown. Once I put my inline fan in my humidity levels were dropping to 20%. It started killing all my new growth.

I put a humidifier in but I can still only get the humidity up to 35% when the lights are on.

Take a look at my post https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/252482-new-leaves-curled-up-twisted.html
see if you are having similar problems. The humidifier has helped immensely.

Closest to CO2 powder that I know of. Dont think it would do much for your humidity though. Best advice was stated about just spray plants with clean ph'd water and or keep buckets of water near the plants in your room, best of luck
thanks for the link but my homie supposed to be hookin me up with some. and i've tried the water in the room and it didnt really help.......any other suggestions??? im on a really low budget....like really low!

You can get a cheap-@ss humidifier at walmart or walgreen's for like $15. It's a little noisy but it works

The only other option I can think of would be boiling water and putting it in the room but that takes alot of time and is kinda a pain in the ass. Like said before though too low of humidity is nowhere near as big of an issue as too high humidity so I think you will be alright. 40% is ideal brotha so if your close to that youll be fine.

The plant will lose more water through the leaves which can cause them to curl up along on the sides. It also increases their suseptibility to wind burn as there is less moisture to protect the plant.

if your flowering i wouldnt worry to much then , but have u tried the bowl under the lights ? if your grow is nice an airtight that works the best imo

I have to deal with very low humidity here as well. It stays around where yours does, roughly 20-30%. I picked up a humidifier off ebay for $4 and it gets my veg box up to around 50-60% humidity. Without the humidifier, the newer leaves claw downward in an effort to conserve water.
