Hi All...here's the situation. I would like to know what I should do & I have to know within the next hour. I have a Cannabis plant named Luci. She is about ready to harvest I think...I'm pretty sure I know what to look for. I have a microscope & this will be the third plant I've done so I have some experience. Here is the imprtant info...she is a bagseed started in mid July so she's about 3.5 months old. She was put on a 12/12 cycle sometime in the beginning of August & is now on a 10/14 schedule & has been on this schedule for 2 months. I need to shut the lights off at 2 so that's the time dilema maybe. Now here is where my issues begin...the soil is still quite moist, but dosen't need to be flushed. It's organic & the nutes have been virtually non-existant for a month or so & they were organic as well. After checking the trichs I notice clear/cloudy/& amber...um your guess is as good as mine. Most of the stigmas(hairs) have died with only a few new white hairs around. Luci is also starting to show signs of the hermaphrodite condition. I noticed she is pollinating herself. Now...she is about a foot tall, very sticky, & very crystally. I can see my plants grow & although she is virtually done I can still she her growing? My question is multiple parts & I have some ideas, but I need you guys to help me decide please. First - Should I harvest the whole plant or just the top chunk which looks luciously delicious? This part has absolutely no new flowers on it. Second should I extend the light it gets before harvest? Third - should I let the soil dry out as much as possible before harvest? Here are a few ideas I had. One - harvest the whole thing, trim as best I can, dry for a week, cure for two weeks. Two - harvest the top chunk, do process from first idea for chunk, trim the rest of the plant & continue on 10/14 for a couple weeks & she what happens. Three - Use idea two but put the plant back to 24 hours of light(re-veg). Will this even work if I leave most of the plant intact? Will the bud rot? I'm sorry for the long post, but I had so many ideas & questions. Any help is greatly appreciated!
