How deep into the flower cycle are you? Most insect soap sprays you can use a few days before harvest.Head shops are not where you want to go, you need a hydro store or a good nursery. Tell them you want an organic pesticide spray. Safer is the brand I use 10 bucks and its in a green spray bottle. Otherwise a weak neem spray may be in order. If you are meticulous, rub down each leaf to kill the spider mites and put a fan on the plant, they hate a windy plant. But just 1 egg can hatch a few hundred mites, thats why they never seem to leave. and if you have more than one plant watch it carefully for the spotty yellow leaves which indicates the bastards sucking on the other side of the leaf.

Yellow sticky traps are a growers best friend, I highly suggest you invest in some if you haven't already. Neem is great, Azamax and Azatrol are better concentrated versions. Both are OMRI listed too which rocks. Don't foliar spray or drench with it after week 2 of flower though, it is a systemic and who wants to consume buds that smell/taste like Neem??? If you have a bunch of tiny of black gnats stuck to your bud at harvest use compressed air to remove what you can. Good luck.

An insecticidal soap or spray containing pyrethrum and piperonyl butoxide might be a safer bet if these plants are more than a few weeks into flowering. These are the active ingredients in Dr. Doom Fogger, other brands are available. These are botanically derived compounds; they kill on contact and break down rapidly (within 12 hours). You should be able to use it even with a week or so before harvest, and it wont leave a residue or affect the taste of the herb.

If you have over a month before harvest you could try a product that includes permethrin, which is much more stable than pyrethrum so it will kill for a longer period of time. Just be positive that you are not buying any products that are petroleum based.

Neem oil and Organocide work well especially in combination for various bug problems, but they leave oily residues and aromas/flavors that will linger. I wouldn't use either of those products after plants have been flowering for over a couple weeks.
