Lowrider: What Nutes did you use with the plants? And what soil did you try?
You're missing nutrients when using MG... calcium, magnesium, sulfur, molybdenum, zinc, and chlorine. Try a basic line as in General Hydroponics Flora Nova or Fox Farm to get even bigger results. And it would probably taste better in the long run.

Try using Roots Organic or Fox Farm Ocean Forest in the next run... Using the right soil will pay out in the end result, don't hold yourself back just for a couple of $. Bag should run between $12-$15

I just used mircale grow with it having NPK nutes. The MG I used feeds the plants up to 3 monhs. My buddy used the seed starter soil and his plants worked great. They were like big christmas trees.

Yeah, we got the candy flavors going in Cali... There's no room for crap tasting plants out here.

ive got a couple grows going in MG organic and MG moisture control...none of them have even a slight hint of nute burn...people seem to really hate MG soil and i dont see why....when i found this site everyone kept saying...get fox farms ocean forest....now i see more and more threads about those that hate ffof cause its too hot.people tend to forget that these things grew in the wild...with plain dirt...and would grow just fine.long as the plant has a good balance of what it needs...about any soil will work...just make sure its got a good mix of perlite in it so that it will drain

this is my 2 newest plants...both are in MG organic with a 50/50 mix of perlite and soil....no burn...hell the last plant i grew in soil was over 3 foot...never got any burn on it either...MG isnt as bad as people think

Getting scared because people go overboard on nutrients with ocean forest or roots organic isn't worth losing weight and quality with MG. Be smart, use as recommended or under and get some great results. MG makes your plants look great in the beginning, but that's about it.

ive finished plants with mg and they have done great..most of the time its not the soil...its the grower
