So many people pay little attention to cal mag when it is equally as important as the nitrogen, phoshorous and potassium nutrients. I want to look into cal and mag overdose, i reckon i can spot a mag toxicity but have yet to pinpoint a cal toxicity.
What can i say if leaves look cal/mag def but cal/mag! If that dont work you may have cal/mag def from a lockout or toxicity, each situation is unique but more than often cal mag at 3-1 ratio with 80ppm cal and 20ppm mag is about what i shoot for and achieve, in fact i need just a touch more mag in my mix but thats just my particular strain.
Dont fly blind but pay attention to all variables and eliminate the problem one by one, if cal/mag dont work there are futher considerations to understand. Peace
