I need help diagnosing this Problem.

Can someone help me diagnose the problem for my middle plant? More and more leaves keep turning yellow and falling off. I thought I had nitrogen deficiency, but the plant is showing the slighest nute burn on the tips. Doesn't this mean it should be getting enough nitrogen since it means it's getting just a little bit more than it wants?\

What should I do?


Grow Specs Below:

Seedsman Jack Herer Fem
Day 31 of Flower
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil
5g fabric pots
3x5 tent
Electric Sky 300 v3 (20 inches away at LVL 10)
75-85f
45RH%
Ph going into medium 6.2-6.8
Fox Farm Trio Nutes at half dose for last two weeks
Cal Mag at full dose for last two weeks
Feeding 1 Tablespoon of Molasses per gallon every other feeding, opposite nutes.

I don't plan on using fox farm for my second grow. I think I want to go the super soil route, but i don't know if it's Fox Farm Trio that's causing this problem. The other two plants seem fine and there getting it as well.

Its too much light/environment not equipped to handle that much light.

If it is the soil then a top dressing of lime will fix it but its not the soil.....this time.

fox farms soil CAN be good but you really need to have an idea on what youre doing. alot of noobs fall prey to the marketing and cool pictures on the bag. they think its easy peasy. 'well its made for growing weed how can i go wrong. ill buy ff soil and ff nutes theyre made to go together right?'

theres ways to use it. for me. its not worth it
ill mix my own soil and add what I want to be in it.

ya def not light man.
those plants are well into flower and if it was a light issue it would have shown face earlier during veg or early flower. lower leaves are yellow. thats not light burn.
btw. exp light man. never heard of them but looking at their site they dont post any stats on the lights output performance or mention what type of leds or drivers they use.
for that price id be expecting them to be up front with their info and stats.

also why are you feeding calmag full strength? you shouldnt even have to use calmag in that soil with reg water.
that could be your issue right there. too muxh calcium and magnesium in the soil causing ph problem and lockout

I thought I should be using full dose, but even still I'm checking the PH of the water after I've already added cal mag.

It looks like classic light burn to me.... of course he may be able to adjust food to accept that much light but the easy fix is to back off the light. Look at the outside plants and the ones with the least amount of light and compare to the rest. Looks like a hotspot to me.

The middle ones are having problems getting N but its because of the light intensity. (all the extra calmag is not helping either)

Not everything is light burn lol.

Light burn affects the top most leaves. Those arent at the top.

Im not calling it light "burnt" im saying there is too much light causing the issues. i stand on that.

Ever since we been recommending good led diodes , the community has been burning their plants. Its most common on newbs who have never used hps. They have nothing to compare to so its very easy for them to add too much light.
Specially with some recommending 35-50 watts a sq/ft. That gets intense for most girls. Most new guys dont have the environment to handle that much light.

It does look like classic N def but adding N will not fix it in my opinion. The only way i know to fix this is to lower intensity.

This one is easily proven. Add some N and lower your intensity and they will respond. Just add N only if you want to prove it.

We need to do a sticky on led use if there is not one or ten already. There are a few guidelines that would help all the new guys pick out lights. There are just too many light companies out there , half are legit the other half are rubbish. I think a general "rule" would be to use half of what you would use with hps or 25 watts sq/ft. We are all learning these lights as we go so making a sticky is proper at this point.
