I need help-asap

suggestion --> let the plants veg for another 1 week to recover then top the plants instead of super cropping.. let them recover for 2 more weeks then flower... you will get two colas instead of one, the plant will be shorter and it is easier to bend the double top branches than trying to bend the main stem.. Ive tried 'super cropping' the main stem and once I broke/snapped it completely off (cuz it was so rigid) and another time the yield on the cola was smaller than the branched buds!

yea i just looked at them... i don't think supper cropping is the way to go considering this is my first time. i'm just going to see what happens.. this first grow is a learning experience anyway i got about 28 or so plants.. i'll be happy with 1/2 lb dry. Actually i'm happy knowing i am gaining the knowledge, knowing i'm on my way to being a self sufficient smoker...

Next time, just skip the soil if there is no good soil available. Mix equal parts of Vermiculite, Perlite and through a good bit of Sphagnum Peat Moss(try to get the peat that is ground up fine or you'll have to do it yourself) in with it, and you can grow without any soil. I've done that a couple times, works great. The Sphagnum Peat Moss helps keep the PH down too.
 
yea cause the fox farm looks like it might me burning my plants alittle i flushed LAST NIGHT i should wait about 4 days and do it again right?

You really should have just left them alone to begin with and watered that MG soil right like the one guy said. I use MG and I have grown for many
years now. You just have to use it right. Same thing with what you have. You have to use it right. Do you have rootballs of MG soil and now that's
in foxfarm soil and you're just screwing with them over and over with transplanting and flushing? Am I understanding this correct?

The plants can't say it, but that's exactly what they would say.

Oh yea, and just in case it's not clear never never never flush plants in pre-nuted soil. Period. All that does is give another dose of fertilizer and keep them
overwatered.

While we're on the subject of things that make us sick, I will add newbies who come here expecting to be spoon fed without doing any preliminary study.

Do YOUR home work search Merical Grow organic and see people saying it is shit, you might like to do things half ass, but not me.

Are you a newbie or a seasoned member? Commercial planting mixes have been discussed to death on this forum. Every time you turn around another thread pops up.

I'm only going to say this simply in plain english one time.

Half assed is fucking with your plant over and over and over. Less half assed would have been leaving it in that cheap crap soil that I don't argue is cheap crap soil but would have been better than fucking with it and transplanting it and flushing it repeatedly.

You might as well try to get the plant to grow faster by repeatedly poking it with a stick.
 
Cool just leave it at that then.. if you don't like the questions asked on newbie central.. Like i said you don't know what your talking about i had clones that i got from someone in nursery trays. I don't know what kind of soil they had, but i now i can't grow herbs in a container the size of big shot glass. So i got 1 liter containers and soil...I don't read every post on this whole site. But i did read the bag of mirical grow:organic and it says right on it "FEEDS UP TO FOUR MONTHS" i'm getting ready to flower. i don't want to smoke fertilizer so i went foxform cause it feeds for 30 days. Even though i've read stuff, i've still never did this. So i transplanted 1 time from little starter trays to larger ones with Foxfarm.. Then i watered them real good. I am under Duel 400 MH-HPS with just the MH running during the last days of veg. then i'm going to swith to HPS for flower and the last two weeks 800 watts of HPS and MH. So if i'm doing things HALF-ASSED let me know where i'm fucking up instead of just talking shit to a noob.
 
JONNYORGANIC Sorry bro. i'm a have been on this sight for a while i have some rep. but i've been on here reading.. Not trying to be a weed god. I never grew anything, but i've smoked a ton of weed. There is lots of info on this sight for all types of situations. I really want this to work, i'm sure you can understand. I needed to do something quick.. everyone replied timely enuff... so it's all good

nvirgo....grab some miracle grow organic or scotts potting soil organic..very low npk ratio with no added ferts..do not buy somethuin with time release as it will burn your seedlings pretty bad..also..beware even if u order soil from someone reputable..if you order the wrong kind it can aslo damage your seedlings (i.e fox farms ocean forest)..none of those type soils are good for the first month of grow.
ive heard that au can bake soil in the oven at like 350 for a half hour and it should kill anyhting..but my advice wuld be to jus get the organic stuff

No problemo. Believe it or not, we come to these threads to help.

Here is my opinion on pre-fertilized commercial blends: I don't have a problem with them. I prefer not to use them because I grow organic and prefer having total control over fertilizers I use. But I would use a pre-fertilized blend if I had no other option.

Soil growers get gunched up over many variables for no reason. This is due to a confusion between soil and hydro techniques.

Examples:
Nutrients vs. Fertilizers
Flushing vs. Rinsing
Constant PH Monitoring vs. PH Testing If Indicated

Personally, soil is much easier because it does not require the constant monitoring that hydro requires. Use the proper fertilizer N-P-K blend for the appropriate growth stage and test for PH only if your plants indicate a problem. No need to rinse your plants unless you over-fertilize.

there may have been confusion when I said "clones" these things were between 8-14 inches when i got them and rootting in these little nursery pods.. The search on this sight kinda sucks, not to mention everyone thinks their problem is unique to there grow. My girls seem to be doing OK, I have some discolor on the lower which looks like nitro problems but i did give a good soak after transplanting, but befor the transplanting i think i was over watering. I see some soil grows on here and plants are perfect green follage and short stout plants.. Maybe they are experanced or have better luck then me. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly from here on out, I took 1 hour ofrf the light schedule today and plan on continueing this untill im on 12-12 in a few days, then switching to HPS
