I need ADVICE HOMEMADE co2 water/yeast/sugar. the dangers of it?!?

i just made a 5 gallon with hose at the top of plant in closet in my bedroom.. ok how safe is that i put 4 packets of yeast/4 cups of sugar and 5 cups of water pere cup of sugar..will this make to much carbon dixiode where i could die in my sleep or being in the room..?

You could die in your sleep but not from 4 cups of sugar and some yeast :joint::peace:

I wouldnt worry about it bro... I think the dangers of co2 come into play when you have a 20lb tank and a small place... say a 2 bedroom apartment or so? Although a 20lb tank would probably fill more than that, im just saying its not a 20lb equiv. I wouldnt sweat it... Heres an Idea... put the hose under water and see how many bubbles come out... if that cup isnt boiling over with co2 bubbles I wouldnt worry unless your sleeping in a 5x5 sealed area with your plants...

i didnt think it would its in my closet of my bedroom where i sleep! my bedroom is 10 x 10 a fairly good size bedroom i have fans on ceiling fan ac ect.. Im very concernd and tried researching on line but got nothing to help me.

yeah man as long as the air is circulating through out a decent sized area you should be good, like ive been in a paintball store before where a 20oz co2 container completely emptied... it kinda surprised everyone but we didnt freak out and air the place out immediately

first of all it's carbon MONOXIDE that makes people die in their sleep, not carbon dioxide. You'd wake up gasping for air if CO2 lvls got super high. I'm not sure a jar of yeast will make enough CO2 to even benefit your girls...let alone be dangerous. I've thought about the yeast bottles, but as soon as you vent your shit you blow away that teeny bit of CO2. I think it's like spraying your plants with seltzer...urban legend/hippie bullshit. CO2 works, but you need a REAL set-up.

hahaha yea i was reading and was like, wait isnt it carbon MONOXIDE.. its not like that its forcefully exerting c02 also.. i have one right now in a 2 liter and it releases it slowly, as will yours.

yea i had it at first when i discoverd the trick i had it in 1 gallon glass beer jug...I was thinking and wanting to beef it up! so i made like 4 packs of yeast 4 cups of sugar and water in a 5 gallon bucket with a water hose cut off1 lol i ran the hose right above her so the CM will fall to her.Yea i like to right the minute before she goes into 12/12 ill give the bucket a lil shake and it makes the cm like crazy it'll flow good when everythings quite dark and asleep
