i have a small pipe that im having one problem with and i cant figure out how to fix it or if i can even fix it in the first place. My problem is that the hole in the bowl of my pipe is too small so it clogs very easily and is pretty frustrating sometimes, so my question is, is there a way to open the hole at all without damaging the piece? here is a picture of the piece to give you the best idea of what im asking for.0326121100.jpg

If you have a Dremel and a diamond bur, you're on your way. Perhaps a friend has a Dremel, and you can get the bur for a few bucks. cn

be careful. i've broken 2 peices from over scraping a tiny hole to unclog it. usually i demote those peices to kief bowls and i throw a screen in it. screens clog but at least they can be removed.

you could always soak it in some 91% iso and just clean it and it will look like new again and the hole should get bigger. if not i agree with the dremel idea or just go buy another piece.

I have really hot water in my house so I just run it s hot as it gets thru the carb hole 5 Minutes and it's clean.
CAUTION... put a cloth in the sink to keep the tar off the porcelain, I use a pair of tongs to hold it in the
running water it gets pretty hot.:joint:

well the cleaning idea would be great except that even when the pipe is clean the hole is still that size, i think the dremel idea is pretty good, but i dont have one to use at the moment.

You can purchase ceramic and glass drill bits, but it'll probably be less expensive to just get a different pipe.

I use either paperclips or these. You can just use the pointy end and keep reusing it. The ones I use though are narrower on the toothpic part. I know its not changing the hole size but fixes and clog with ease.

Heat the spot till its red with a torch lighter then make it bigger with a piece of wire.

I like all of these suggestions, but especially Total Head, maybe you should use a screen.

My pipe is pretty much the same and I like putting a sizable nuggets in there that tends to burn and ash tidier than having put lots of broken down bits that may clog it. But definitely try a screen if it will stay in there.

lol< i was assumeing he'd be useing a screen. Sometimes people are sillier then I give them credit for.

well its too small honestly for the screens i have, but its not that the hole is resined up to the point its small, its just the glass is blown that way.
