I need a little advice on introducing a new nutrient to my schedule

I'm nearing the end of my grow and I'm in the process of doing two things, cutting down my nutrients and introducing Big Bud to my plants.

First off I keep finding myself having to mix new nutrient water every two days because the girls are drinking up all the water...literally. I check the ppm on the little amount left and it's in the 2,000+ range with a ph of 5! Originally I was feeding them 5ml B1 Red, 15ml BC Boost, 15ml BC Bloom, 5ml Awesome Blossom, 2.5ml MagiCal, 10ml Sugar Daddy. The last two times I've refilled the reservoir I've used this schedule 2.5ml B1 Red, 5ml BC Boost, 10ml BC Bloom, 2.5ml Awesome Blossom, 2.5ml MagiCal, 5ml Sugar Daddy and I've introduced 7ml Big Bud. I've been pouring this into the res at a ph of 7 to offset the super low ph which brings it back to a 6 which I've tried to keep it at throughout the whole grow. When I've checked the ppm after adding the solution its averaged about 1500. I checked my plant this morning and started noticing what may be nutrient burns on the very tips of some of the leaves. I'm starting to consider taking the BC Boost & BC Bloom out of the equation and using Big Bud at it's full strength of 15ml.

Any suggestions?

Do you ever dump the res and refill with fresh nutrients? You need to!

Try running like this. The 33% rule

Mix up a res worth of 100% ratio solution. Fill the res.
As the res level drops and you need to refill it to "full". Add back a 33% ratio nutrient solution.
Take 1 gallon of 100% solution and add 2 gallons of straight water. pH adjust to your comfort point (5.8 - 6.2) and top off the res.
Keep topping off at the 33% rate UNTIL the amount your about to add back would bring the TOTAL amount you've added back to the total amount the res was filled up to start with. Now DUMP the res and refill with 100% ratio solution and repeat the process.

I don't like high P bloom foods.....If your going to jack the P levels,,,,,a little at week 4 and spike it ONCE at the last 2 weeks. Don't keep adding the "spike" supplement at top offs.

PPM's of 2K are high! The plant puts "waste" back into the solution....You at first see a drop in ppm and it will begin to rise in time. this will cause all sorts of problems if you don't dump and refill with fresh nutes from time to time.....Some do it every 2 weeks, some do it less often.....Hard to say unless you know the nutrients you use well.
This is where the 33% rule helps decide that dump and fill time for you.....It's an "old school" hydro formula that still works today!

Look up lucas formula if your doing recirc.

And I agree with Dr. Who, your ppm is way to high. I learned the hard way that going over 1000 is a waste of money and usualy causes nothing but problems in the long run. Not to mention plants are healthier and actually yield slightly more then when they are pushed to their 'burning' point, then scaled back slightly- at least in my experience-I went up an average of an once per plant feeding LESS, go figure.

Here is also what I've found with the pk boosts- If you keep your ppm low, around 800-1000, and go light on the pk boost- I hit them @ week 4-7 and keep it at half strength, they seam to actually give your plants a 'boost'

In the hands of an expert gardener, pk boosts can have a major impact on overall yield. That being said, I'm not an expert. I've seen people have incredible results using potent, powdered pk at the very end of flowering but I stick to the liquid koolbloom all the way out of fear of hurting my girls with my inexperience.

I should of also said I don't use it every day in weeks 4-7. I run dtw and a filled rez lasts me 3-5 days(depending on how many times a day I water them). I do alternating fills with the pk boost, not every time.
