anybody else feel like a canine companion is the coolest shit since sliced bread? this guy right here is the best behaved and smartest puppy i've ever come across. and i'm not just sayin that cause he's mine. 5 months old this week. it's cool cause i picked him up a little bit before i started my first grow. so they get to grow up together :hug:

Dogs are amazing. I own a mastiff and a pitt bull, as well as help run a dog rescue. The rescue is my wifes, but I help out with what I can. My avatar is my mastiff when I first brought him home at 8 weeks old. 2 1/2 years later his head his bigger than he was when we brought him home lol, now he's 186lbs.

^holy shit that's a lot of dog!!! i bet he can go through some food. i'm guessing my boy will be 80-90 lbs full grown. i roomed with a buddy a while back who had a pit. those dogs are awesome and get a way bad rep. that's awesome you guys run a rescue. people are retarded about taking care of animals.

Dogs are awesome. I've had dogs forever and I love getting them high, they love it too. When my dog Jambo sees my bong out he runs up and starts licking it.

my big boy loves to get high, but I hate when he gets high. all he wants to do is play, and he forgets to hold back when he's high, so he turns into a big asshole.

cats are pretty good at that too,many mammals and some birds too.

plenty of species really.

there is even this spider that scientists consider sentient lol (its constantly inventing new ways to hunt along with its rather long repertoire of tricks)

cats and dogs though and perhaps particularily dogs have a much more longstanding relationship with humans, so we have become pretty close, pretty much a symbiotic relationship.
though we dont "need" them as much, it sure would be a sucky world without them

love german sheperds, i like them with more brown than black though. had one growing up, they are very smart dogs and can be very well behaved. a bit territorial if they're not socialized at a young age.

i live in an apartment now and it'd be hard on the dog to own a dog that sized. definitely get one when i get a house and some land for them to play in. get a couple actually so they can be buddies. dont want children so i'd just have them as my children, haha.

for real though, dogs are awesome. some can be pricks though, but if its yours you're the only one responsible.

definitely. how long have they been domesticated? 10,000 years? definite symbiotic relationship there. in some situations, they can definitely be as much a part in the whole hunter/gatherer survival look on it. but for the most part, in modern day, they rely on us to survive while we rely on them to enrich our lives.

This is Monty my mastiff, he's even bigger now since he's been neutered.

I love him like the son I never had, we do everything together.

for sure dogs can be pricks! lol i used to get chased home from the bus stop by this big ass chow named "bear"

hell yeah! i do everything with my dog too. that's the way it should be. if i can't take him somewhere, it affects my decision on whether or not to go. nice lookin dog btw.
