So....... your growing next to a police officer in a small enclosed area with only a piece of drywall, insulation, and stucco between the cop and the weed? I dont know how to tell you this, but there's no way in hell anyone would grow there. By the tone of your post sounds like growing is unlawful, which sucks for where ever you are.

.25 acre lot is just a fancy way of saying a 10,890sqft yard. Which, is barely enough to put a house let alone the casita. ANYONE who tells you that you are safe there should have their head checked. Sorry man. :(

yes, yuor neighbor is going to at some point go on his roof and see your back yard. or some other un-fortunate event. be more paranoid. buy a new house.

Keep in mind that the backyard is very well covered with trees and private. We are legal patients and the wall is a 12ft tall brick wall

If your a legal patient, then the cop is nothing to worry about. Still not that smart, because he'll tell all his co-workers who will probably somehow end up getting you robbed, but hey that's the risk right? :)

Nope, sounds like the best cover you could ever have. Just be good buds with the cop and he will never know, in fact he will tell all his cop friends what a great guy you are and you can all go have beers at the bar together. Cops break laws too you know? They just don't feel the need to have to be punished for them. Who could see in? the casita is like a little house with walls, ceiling floor etc, your golden in my book, in fact you couldn't be better off.

I would go ahead and just start your grow. If he ever questions what's going on, be frank with him. Tell him your wife has cancer and you both are legal patients and you're just growing a small amount to help her out. Easy.

(Not trying to sound like a dick w/ the cancer subject; you could say something else):)

Casitas are a lockable building. For $4 you can make any room locked by replacing the handle anyways. :) A Casitas problem is they are generally impossible to contain the fan noise, a/c-always-on-noise, and they leak smells so badly because they are so poorly and quickly built. They are meant more as an office or a play room for kids thats detached from the main house. Its the worse place to grow possible, really other than in your front lawn.
