Normal for Finishing?

That’s a good question. I’ve been using the photon app(with their diffuser) When this started happening I was about at 800 or 900 in the center and 700+ in the corners and I’m running a 200 W Photontek Pro light led it was about 14 inches above the canopy. Part of the problem is this is all in a 2 x 2 AC Infinity tent and it’s hard to control the heat even with good flow and a lung room that stays at 74. I kinda have that solved now. Temps were 74/night - 80-83/ day. This plant has always been a little afraid of the light. I’m wanting this girl to finish because I’ve taken care of all that. I have a 2 x 4 coming with improved airflow and a light with a detachable driver so I’ll have the environment dialed in for the next run.

I have grown a strain with similar formation, they seem to stretch then fill out, I wouldn’t be surprised if once they seem nearly done they start stacking on new growth again for a second bulk.
Just out of curiosity what ppfd are you hitting your canopy at?
Well, she is still kicking. It was week 8 yesterday and she just keeps getting bigger. Don’t be fooled by it looking so fluffy. When you squeeze those buds, they are thick and chunky. Pistils are changing now so getting close? Another week?

It is looking really really good.. the reason I asked about ppfd is I had a strain a while back that flowered in a similar manner under high strength light, it just seemed to keep stacking on more growth and the buds kept bulking, be patient.
If you want her to finish up I’d try backing the lights off a little and lowering the temp a little also.. those buds are still packing on growth however and have more filling out to do and haven’t gone through the swell yet, I’d guess another 2+ weeks.

I'd say another couple weeks also . Those look good and they will look GREAT given enough time .

When I had my indoor setup I grew 50+ strains and I think only one was ready in less than 60 days . If my memory serves it was Legends Ultimate Indica . Breeders (most) will focus on one outlier pheno that finishes early and use it as a marketing tactic . You may need to run 100 from seed to see one .

Thanks guys! Appreciate all the advice. I guess the first grow is always interesting because you’re watching it happen in real time. All the YouTube videos really help but when it’s right in front of you, not so much. I bet a lot of people pull these down early. I get it. I’m taking your advice and riding it out to see what she can do. I guess I’ll go by the Trichomes as that seems to the best way to decide when she’s done and according to them, she’s not. All advice is welcome and thanks again. I will post an update next week for sure.

Trichomes are good, but when you finally get there those calyx’s will swell and the hairs will shrivel in.. once you see it you will know what to look for, I used to pull early as well before I finally learnt to wait that little bit longer.
Lovely looking plants
