I have dried and cured properly before so please don't give me all the generic answers. I want to test my guerilla plants this weekend so that I know when I will be able to harvest. I can only go there at night so it is really difficult to see triches. I have tried quick drying before in the oven, microwave and dehumidifier.. But i was thinking of trying a food dehydrator... anyone had a go at this?

If you can wait 36 hours i suggest you do so. What i do is get a nice bud and chop it into1/2 inch buds and hang them in the drying room with the fan on full (for a day and a half). They crisp up nice and the smoke isnt too harsh. Dare i say almost like 2 week dried bud...

let me know how you feel about it.

If you MUST use a lame quick dry method.. I would use the tinfoil and light bulb method. It takes a little longer.. but your test buds will be dry within 5 hours depending on wattage of the bulb you use of course. Generally.. they say use a 100watt.. Which is what I use.. takes mine about 3 hours to fully dry up.. plus using the 100watt bulbs keep the temps below that critical stage where THC begins to degrade and evaporate.

Peace.
