I just want to mention if anything is a gateway drug it's weed to cigarettes.

What are you 16? Alcohol is gateway drug #1. Chances are good that if you are brought up around watching people drink around every social event there is on top of every time else you will grow to consume too much alcohol. What happens when you're drunk? You usually make shitty ass decisions. I know buddies of mine that thought of cannabis as a gateway drug simply because they were lied to about it being so harmful so they figured herion must not be so bad. It was the lie not the drug.
 
I think marijuana offers access to a culture that is rife with other drugs that are far more harmful. Prohibition has done this. If legalized, taxed and honestly talked with to our youth there would be less of a problem. There will always be those with a weak personality like the poster who goes from wanting a joint to smoking a cigarette, seems if someone offered up a glass pipe he would smoke it just for the action of smoking. It doesn't matter what is in it. He just wants to smoke. Drugs are not the problem, people are.
 
Don't think the OP even knows what a gateway drug is.. Oh that's right. You keep getting shorted on 20 bags so the natural response is to say fuck my life and just buy some meth. Bloody gateways! :cuss:
 
When I was in kindergarten I found a tub of paste.. noticed how awesome it stuck crap together.. then in about 1st grade I found some elmers glue.. and WOW how cool was that crap? put it on your hand let it dry.. or stick more shit together.. then in high school.. I was working and I went to cash as check I got and then do a little shopping I stumbled across superglue a 2 pack mind ya.. I super glued parts of my school together.. got caught for it.. then about 20 years ago.. buddy shows me this shit called JB weld.. I have slowly been making a plasma laser to weld shit together...

it all started from paste.. that freaking gateway paste..

Theres no such thing as a gateway drug.. how stupid.

Ok the first drug I ever took was cannabis. Why? Out of pure curiosity. Its the same reason I tried mushrooms my first time too. I wasnt thinking "oh I love cannabis and mushrooms are considered drugs too so they must be the same". Nope, I knew I was I for a completely different experience than cannabis, so how can people say pot led me to eat mushrooms?

Like kinetic said, drugs are not the problem, people are. In my case I only had my own curiosity to blame. But whats funny is if they put me down on some statistics id help the illusion that pot smokers try other drugs because they love being high so much. Plenty of stats are coincidental, they just use their stats as scare tactics. Ive smoked plenty of pot, ill never try heroin because im not curious about it

Everything i have tried i did so because they had somthing to offer. and nothing to do with each other i researched and researched before i took anything. besides excstacy
And i had always wanted to try that
 
I never believed in the gateway drug theory but now that I think about it alcohol is one for me. I quit cigarettes but still want one only when im drunk. If someone offers me drugs while im sober, I say no but if im drunk, the shit is half way up my nose before I even know for sure what it is.
 
"Gateway Drug" is a fear word made by our parents, grandparents and in some cases great grandparents. Just like "Terrorist" is a fear word in the us. Back when most people trusted the government they told us all this B.S. about Pot because of some politicians probably had a bad high one time or some B.S.
If people were honest with themselves pot would be legalized tomorrow world wide.
 
The real gateway drugs or more harmful drugs are: Panadol, caffine, sugar, antidepressants, alcohol and shit like that.

How can you get shorted on a $20 bag. I see no amount mentioned just money, if that is the case, then what ever you got was $20 worth. I have over 10 strains right now and $20 will get you different amounts of different strains. If you don't like being shorted buy by weight(gram,1/8,1/4,zip) then you have something complain about if you don't get it. The value of $20 is in the eye of the beholder, weight is set in stone.

As stated before, I'd agree with there is no gateway drug until I kicked some bad habits and now realize every time I drink I have to fight these urges. Now that I rarely drink, I rarely get urges for the hard stuff.
 
I used weed to quit smoking tobacco. Over here in europe its very common to mix weed with tobacco in a joint, suppose it came from the hash smoking back in the day where you had to mix it with tobacco. I also used to smoke rollies with just tobacco.
Then for two weeks whenever i felt like a cigarette i just rolled a small just weed joint. Apart from being so stoned i started finding tobacco disgusting. I tried smoking a cigarette after two weeks and found the taste horrible cause i was expecting nice weed taste, also made me cough. Tried it in a joint with weed and discovered id ruined it by adding the tobacco. Felt like tobacco was pointless to smoke, did replace it with weed though... Its been a long time now and i cant even hack the smell of tobacco.
For me weed was more a of stopway drug lol, it even made me stop like being drunk and i find many stoners dont like drinking very much either.
I dont advocate smoking joints like one would smoke cigarettes(i.e 10/20 a day), i did it only to quit tobacco.
 
you're goddamn right Marijuana is a gateway drug... to the fridge.

Alcohol is probably the biggest gateway drug, it gives you the 'I don't give a fuck attitude'. If someone offered me speed or whatever drunk I'd be like "yeah bro, fuck it", on cannabis I just want to chill out with my mates and watch stoner movies.

There's so much evidence that suggests marijuana is NOT a gateway drug. I have never taken any drugs apart from alcohol and tobacco, hmmm.. 5 million deaths world wide annually or 0? the decision is yours.
