i cant say im crazy about the yield i hope i can say batter things of the taste

you organic guys how does your yields
turn out is it because it was also my first og kush i heard they yield low as well

i will stick with it for a while i might try a mix of organic and chem next time i dont know im always experimenting

this past growth experiments were organic, uvb, cfls and flour tube on side and bottom, kushie kush by adv nutes
oh and i sent plant into flower room naked no fan leaves at all just the little flower of leaves around each bud

i tried so many things im not sure where my low yield kicked in at maybe should not blame the organics yet i will try some eliminations before pointing the finger

How much light you use, is very critical too how much you yield.

You can have the most rich and fertile soil that you can put together, but if there is not enough light for those extra nutrients to be processed by the plant, it will have no effect on yield as more light will always improve yield.

I am sure your quality will be there and that is of most importance if harvested when ripe especially and should provide and enjoyable fruit for your labor.

REV- i use 2- 250w, one MH one hps sometime at the same time

veg mh and everything els but uvb

flower start with mh slows stretch for 2 weeks with everything else including uvb at about one hour a day about 2to 3 feet away

after that i go to both lights untill last two weeks to help then back to just mh increasing uvb along the way to about 3 to 4 hour max

mh great for flower i found but to get hard buds must have some hps in there experimenting is great

having no leaves may have had part in why your yield was low...the leaves are where the energy the plant uses to grow or produce buds comes from having none means the plant is using its energy yo try and replace the leaves but since its in flower its trying to produces buds at the same time...instead of full time bud growth...just my reasoning...

Sounds like it may have been the Strain or Pheno of the Strain itself.

Sometimes the girls just want to skimp, but who knows my brother, she may pack a wallop, LOL!

I can testify that now that I tried organics, everything is so much danker then when using fox farm stuff. (same strains and environment) Yield is approx. the same though.

I think that is definitely your problem. Wouldn't suggest doing that again...leaves are there for a reason!

I like that you did some experimenting though, as that is the only way to truly learn.

I've been organic (BMO, FF Big Bloom) for 6 months or so, and I can say without hubris my buds are awesome. I'm smoking some organic LSD right now and fuck I'm stoned.

Regarding yield, I don't notice much difference. However, I do believe the buds smell and taste better when grown organically. I'm not someone who thinks synthetically derived chemicals are the devil or anything, it's just my preference to grow organically because I can.

That's your yield problem.

I think he's too embarrassed to post in this thread again after everyone pointed out his huge f'up. Oh well. Hope he learned something from it.
