I started growing to have my own meds save some $$$
and learn a thing or two .
Last summer I did good , 3 weeks from chop day I had a infestation of spidermites
mabe thrips !
I tryed some captjacks bug b gone no luck
lost over half my plants
now I'm having more problems , can't $$$ to mess up
I can't even find weed to buy!

It just sucks !
Im not tryin to just give up
i understand that it's not easy growin buds, ive grown up around it my whole life
i learned a little bit , my problem is I just found a little PM mold
on a few leafs (3 plants)
Its not bad , I think I pulled 4 leafs that were infected , then mixed up a 10/1
skim milk batch in my spray bottle , sprayed all plants , cleaned the whole room
almost crying lol
i read about 75 threads on here and watched some YouTube vvideos I only had little spots on a few leafs and a few stems. It's not infested
so i don't have much money I have some lemon juce, baking soda,skim milk
i can't loose these , I'll have no meds for months .
Please help

keep spraying the milk and water every few days for some control on the mildew.. if u have mites can u get a water hose to it and spray them off with water, don't forget to thoroughly spray the bottom of the leaves? GL

You can go to walmart or homedepot and buy safers bug spray for mites and such its about $6-$9 a bottle killes on contact order some doctor doom spray online for like $12.

bro dont use milk please dont use lemon juice mixed with water the high ph will kill the fungus and the bugs

my bro gave me a bottle of azamax I hit the plants with it 1 week ago
i just had some high humidity in the room 70/80
temps never hit 75 deg ever
i think the pots evap the water and I makes the room humid
now it's 70deg 50% humidity
humidity drops to 30% when the pots are dry
hooking up the cfm fan is just going to make the room cold
Im ready to try whatever helps

I'm doing something wrong to have mold , only new thing is bigger pots , more water !
Im growing in a lower part of the house , is not wet , it does get 35/45 deg at night
but I have a heater in there , keeps the room 70-74 day/night
should I drop temps down 65deg?

I might try hooking up the cmf fan , vent some of the air out
mabe it will drop my humidity , I hope I can keep it warm without the heater running 24/7

The problem with PM is that once you have it, it's always there. But you can certainly keep it under control, especially in the veg stage where you can still spray your plants.

A few tips from my personal experience of growing on the ground floor

-avoid milk. Since milk contains proteins and sugars, other infections can be promoted after treatment.
-Increase air circulation by using a large oscillating fan, and spacing the plants further apart from eachother. Also consider cutting off the lowest branches.
-Lower humidity (I have a dehumidifier) especially during dark hours.
-Baking soda with water foliar spray. Anything alkaline with a high pH will kill off the fungus.
-an organic solution I use is fennel (seed) oil. Easy to find, this is an affective natural fungicide.

Ok , I'll try some of these ideas

Ill mix up some baking soda , ph 7.5-8.0 range
