I have more room than lights..also a couple other Q's

I have a 400w hps and misc cfl's. Should i limit myself to a certain number of plants that get direct light, or can i have many more and just rotate them everyday or twice a day?

would it be best to section off the room where the lights are reflecting off of closer walls?


i have some bags seeds going and i have saved every seed i have found out of hydro, getting ready to plant those.(suppose to be mainly train wreck) the plants that are growing now, were planted about 2 months ago and they have only gotten 4-10 in. mainly they were starved in to small of containers and only had miricle grow soil.(outside) i now have the botanicare kit to start feeding them, and the indoor enviroment.

1 last variable. i have a 6 site hydroponickit on the way , and still only have this 1 main light

just keep the plants right under the light and rotate them every day evenly. Them plants are way behind in growth....feed em and see what happens....the yield and quality are going to be reduced no matter what with their condition. you can put 6 under 1 400.

since they have been outdoors they have started to flower i believe. there are white strands on top of all the plants. Since this is already going on do i need to stick with 12/12 or can i go ahead and go 18 for a bit till they get bigger. Also do i need to feed grow or skip straight to flower?
