I have insomnia can I qualify in Michigan?

I been having
Insomnia for 5 months already. I'm 19 yesterday I try weed for my first time and it helped me go to sleep. My cousin told me that I could get a marijuana card for having insomnia. He has insomnia as well and a medical weed card he lives in Sacramento CA. I want a medical marijuana so it could help me go to sleep not to get baked or stoned. I just need it so I could go to sleep and eat well. I really don't want to move to California just for weed. I live in Detroit which I don't know if my condition is added to the listed. Please give me states that I could qualify for medical weed for having
Insomnia. The reason why I don't want to move to calfornia is because it's too Expensive. Please help me.

I dont believe it is on the list of qualifiers. But the best bet would be to see a cert doctor in your area.

If it's related to P.T.S.D then yes. You'd have to have medical proof form a doctor that you regularly see.

First you had Insomnia for 5 months which switched to three...

no that will NOT qualify. but you can qualify for pain . so your back hurts and you cant sleep . then you do qualify . but you need to tell the doctor the pain is so bad that you (throw up or feel like throwing up ) . . and cant sleep . it needs to be a pain related . unless you actually have ms md cancer aids so on. take my word on it I got cards for over 15 patients .

All honesty.. It's hard to find a doctor that will give cards out to teenagers at all... You must prove a major ailment.
I watch on my last renewal 2 people denied mostly teens.
They want a good medical history incase they have to prove in court you qualify.
Also recently they been busting doctors with undercover agents..
