You should count flowering from when u saw the first pistil after 12/12 not when you switch ti 12/12. Not sure if thts what you did but if it took a week or 2 to show sex then ur on week.you dig?

When dealing with bagseed, the mystery of flowering is not a set amount of times. Cut that bitch when she is ready. You will know. The modern method of premium cannabis growing uses microscopes to check tricomes. The old way was to read the amber hair percentage. (70/30) When growing for the first time one becomes anxious an ready before the girl is done a lot of times. Be patient. Go with the microscope or use the amber hair thing.

you can order the 420scope from www.420science.com . But to be honest, if you dont have one you dont really need one. Alot of the growers on here dont even go by the trichome colors. They wait until the pistils have changed colors about 75% all over the nuggets. Once this happens theyre pretty much at peak potency or maturity, and you can chop chop away. Thats a really great telltale sign of when to cut your bitches down. In the majority of the Cannabis Cultivation books ive read, there is little mention of the trichomes, as far as being able to tell when the plant is ready - they all basically say just wait until the plants pistils have changed color 75% throughout the plant.

But the trichomes are definitely a good way to determine what kind of high you want your plants to have, but you also should have a little bit of experience when trying to determine this way. You should harvest a few plants, each one at a different trichome maturity stage, in order to find out what you like best. It takes a couple grows for you to find the perfect point of maturity for the high you like personally when doing this method. If you cant afford or cant find a scope right now, your more than fine, just pay attention to what the pistils are doin, and youll be just fine man.

good luck with the rest of the grow, id say at least another two weeks, and then you should be good :D

There are a flat out shit ton of microscopes on ebay that can be at your door in one week & to canada no less.

Judging by the hairs works pretty well once a grower is acustomed to a strain but on the 1st grow with an unknown seed it'll never work right, break down & get online & get the microscope if you want that plant to be harvested when its ready .

First i would like to say nice plant man look awesome.

Now im fairly newbie so maybe someone with more xp can either correct me or back me up on this but it appears you topped that plants due to the double colas.

Now ive heard of plp topping at the start of flowering or just before and this would ofc shock the plant so it wont grow for about a week maybe more. Did you possibly top but then continue counting the days, this might be why your intial estimates are a bit out of whack, any feedback on this?

I said 15 more days, depends what they look like by then - personally I'd guess they'll probably be ready by 10-15 days anyway, but there again it depends on the effect your after

Never got a scope huh? If you have a pair of binoculars you can look through the other end and it becomes a magnifying glass!! I'd say you plant is close. Its all up to you when you want to harvest. Im sure you are tired of waiting
