I have another Foxfarm nute question

I decided to go w/ Foxfarm nutes for my 1st bubble grow:weed: I bought the 3 piece set of liquids as well as the 3 piece set of solubles. I understand the feeding schedule good enough. Heres my question: I have been using superthrive for years growing veggys as well as on my 1st ever grow (outdoor). It says to add 1 drop per gallon in hydro settups. Think I should use it w/ the Foxfarm?

i used foxfarm before i clogged my system alot and made a mess....i think its the tiger bloom the one that looks like liquid mud.....i didnt have sucsess with it......but u can just add the nutes in and watch the ppms......but i only use superthrive with my cuttings not in my hydro res.....if u were just putting cuttings in the hydro system with a real low ppm or none at all to create roots i would use it otherwise i would say no......maybee im wrong....gl

I only use Superthrive in a crisis then it's worth it's weight in gold - or maybe Acapulco gold. I use Happy Frog potting soil (for my herbs, tomatos and peppers) but I don't use the other stuff.

Whats super thrieve? I use the foxfarm nutes religously... totally make my plants grow better... i would just use the foxfarm alone.. and dont skip out on the grow big.. i use tons of it and my lowrider plant that supposed to only get 1.5 ft tall is now almost 2.5 ft tall and the nodes are super close.. this shit works gooooood

borrowed this quote from 420magazine "Super-Thrive is basically Vitamin B1 and Thamine. Thamine is a rooting stimulant that can be used on seedlings as well as newly cut clones. I also use Super-Thrive on any plant with signs or stress from transplant and it works wonders on them. The best part is the smallest amount, one drop, is all this is needed per. gallon of water. Because it contains no active fertilizers Super-Thrive has no chance of causing nutrient burn or any other damage for that matter, so one need not worry about giving it to their plants. Furthurmore, I have seen first hand the vigor Super-Thrive induces in struggling plants and I can tell you it does in fact work.

Super-Thrive DOES NOT increase bud size or yeilds and mind you this is not it's intended purpose. Most people gather this misconception from the advertisment which pictures super large fruit which they then equate to a wonder formula that will make their plants giants... not so. Rather, it is used as a quick and effective cure-all for immature and unhealthy plants. "

By no means am I gonna skimp on the nutes, that's why I bought the Foxfarm solubles as well.

I've been using my hydro unit to grow some cherry tomatoes. Somehow the switch got knocked off on the power strip and the pump was turned off for about a day. I came in from work to find all the plants dry - after a day in nearly 100 degree temps - and wilted so bad I just knew they would not recover - not a chance. My wife convinced me to give it a try so I flipped the switch and the pump came back on. A few minutes later I thought about the Superthrive and put a few drops in the rez. The next morning you could not even tell they had ever suffered a setback, much less dying. It has it's place in your plants medicine cabinet for sure.

I am using FF nutes myself and am having great success. I did have problems with the Big Bloom settling to the bottom of the res but with a small 10$ water pump circulating the bottom of the res all problems solved.

Thats a genius idea man, I have a small submersible pump from when I had a pet box turtle. Ill run that thing through the dishwasher and put it in the bottom of the res just to keep the nutes from settling.
