I have a question about soil, ph and feeding/watering problems.

So I will be starting a new grow soon, I usually deal with hydro but I'm back with soil for now, my tap water is usually 7.5 to 8 ph out of the tap, Once I have added my nutes it comes to about 7.5 or so, then I would usually add ph down to 6.5 ph. I should add I always water to 20-30% runoff and feed with every watering. Is this the correct way to do it in soil? The reason I ask is because I see nute manufacturers asking to now PH the nute solution because it kills harmful bacteria. What should I be doing here? I don't think watering with ph 7.5 water is the best thing to do when feeding because the plant won't be able to absorb a lot of the nutrients. Guide me RIU to be a good soil grower.

In soil if your doing it right Ph is a non issue. If you have the right organisms in the soil they break it down and Ph it for u

You wanna keep ph close to 6.5-7.0 should be alright
You alternate watering and feedings
feed/water/feed/water/feed/water

So if I understand it correctly, watering with high PH water will not raise the PH of the soil over time?
Of course it will unless soil has buffers like lime/dolomite etc. Outdoor plants(guerilla grow) are watered with rain water at ph 6.5 perfect.
