I Have a Problem & A Question.. Plz Help!

I am trying to get pics posted but am having serious trouble with the process!

Problem... I had to transplant last week (about 2 days into flowering) as I realized that my pots just were not big enough. I bought good soil and used transplanting nutes. I watered them 5 days ago, had decent run off and thought all was well.
Turns out the soil I bought really should have had something added to it for drainage and aeration the soil is STILL really wet after 5 days! I am worried about getting some kind of root rot or other issue. Is there something I can do at this point? Due to my learn as I go procedure my girls have been transplanted 4 or 5 times total! (Only once since I found this board! Love you all!) I am worried about future waterings also. I need a fix for this that wont hurt my girls!

Question:
This is going to sound really really dumb, I have been reading my butt off and could not find this specific answer so please don't tell me I have more reading to do, I am aware.
Do buds form everywhere that hairs form? The reason I ask this is because my girls have TONS of these spots! My largest plant has 48 of them. I am only about 8 days into flowering and a total newbie so I do not know how long they keep growing new flowers before they just start getting larger and I have no idea if this is alot or not but it seems like it to me.

Thanks for the help ya'll!

At each node you will get flower formation it depends how much light is hitting it as to how well it will develop
Have you cleaned up your plant?

Personally i do the following.

After entering flowering the plant will normally stretch for around a 2week period give or take i use this time to whats called "clean up the plant" i try to remove all bud sites from around 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way up the plant from the bottom. Just so that this helps the tops of the plants to be basking in the full lumens from my lamp as the lamps struggle to penetrate a dense canopy.
By doing this the plant is not putting its energy into lower quality buds and pushes everything to the remaining bud sites. Yes granted this puts the plant under some stress and it takes a couple of days for her to resume her growth but i think this helps air circulation up under the canopy and the yield if done correctly. Remember you can take too much so if you try this and are unsure how much to take just take a little until you feel comfortable doing it.

Hope this is some helpfull information for you.

Lady your ladys will "create" buds on every "branch" (where a branch leaves the main stem at every fan leaf) and eventually if done correctly every branch will be one big bud. Which is where what Jondamon said comes in, trimming off your lower braches will make your higher branches create bigger buds. And as far as wet ass soil goes unless you want to repot... again into bigger pots with soil that you have mixed vermiculite and or perlite and or peat moss into you will be seeing this problem until the end of your grow. Hope this helps. Good luck and happy growing.

Thanks Guys! U probably don't get a lot of newbies on here that don't smoke LoL. I have never even bought a bag of weed before so it wasn't until I found this board that I even realized that U didn't smoke the entire plant (except the main stem, I assumed that was non smokable hehe)

Do you think it might help to "lift" the plants and put small rocks at the bottom of the pot, under the dirt, for more aeration?

It might be tricky to lift up the plants in order to add rocks to the bottom - not impossible, but you are risking ripping away some root growth. If you can pull the plants out of the pots carefully, with minimal damage, then this should work well.

But remember that you need to be as careful as possible with each plant since destroying the roots can set back plant growth.

Eh, you live and learn, right? Sounds like you at least know what's going on with plants, which is so not the case for so many people on these boards....LOL

Another idea: You might want to set the pots on something which will allow for drainage, but then poke some holes in the bottom of the pot, somehow. Just a random thought in my head. It sounds like it should work....
