ok i will set my timer on at 4:20 am off at 4:20 pm and be done with it lolIts like what tastes better whisky then coke or the other way around?
Switch the light to 12/12 and be done with it.
So my vote is dont over think such a simple thing.
do tell have you tried it?shall we start the debate of a 13/11 schedule??
When the light comes on just shorten the "On time"when you flip to 12-12 is it better to do it starting from lights off or from lights on or should i split the difference or do it gradually or do the 24 hour darkness thing? all opinions are appreciated
Better to turn on at 4:20 pm and turn off at 4:20 am in my opinion. I always run my lights at night (cheaper energy costs) and it makes my AC work less hard lolok i will set my timer on at 4:20 am off at 4:20 pm and be done with it lol
i think the key is total darness for 12 hours without interuption just fans circulating and let them do the workMy current light schedule is 6:17 pm to 6:17 am. Don’t ask why it’s 17, I didn’t choose that lol. I get home from work at 6:30, so my lights just come on. Gives me time to water and do what I need to for her daylight cycle so I don’t mess with her too much.
Right, but if your lights come on in the evening, you’ll overall use less energy.i think the key is total darness for 12 hours without interuption just fans circulating and let them do the work
plus they keep the room warm i may rethink this lights on 8 pm to 8 am thanks for the input rasberrykiwiRight, but if your lights come on in the evening, you’ll overall use less energy.
