ok hello guys and girls

my first question is i have recently transplanted a plant into a bigger pot, i was wondering how long should i wait before i put into flowering, should i wait a few days, a week or do it straight away?

and also i have some autoflower seedlings that i will have to put in with the flowering plant, which means they will be on 12/12 has anyone done auto's on 12/12 before? and wahat was the outcome?

thanks hope yous can help

! question you can put it to flower whenevr you want after the transplant usually they take right to it.
2- autos go by flower by age not by dark period so they need all the light they can get.Yeild will be small if you do autos on 12/12 its best to them 18/6 or 20/4.

thanks for the reply, yeah i have grown auto's before on 20/4 all the way, the normal plant is one that i rescued from outside, it seems like a waste to leave it out when all the others have been attacked by animals and insects, this one just looked good, so i have brought it in, do you think i would still get a half decent yeild from them on 12/12? i think i will get more of this single plant than i would with the 3 autos thats why i brought it in, what do you think?

thanks

Hey Jimmy!

"my first question is i have recently transplanted a plant into a bigger pot, i was wondering how long should i wait before i put into flowering, should i wait a few days, a week or do it straight away?"

You can go into flower at any time after transplanting, I vary between seconds to weeks. I've read people talk about transplant shock but I've never had it, there are many other things that could be wrong with the plant on transplant - bad PH in the new medium being the first that comes to mind. Make sure that your new medium is the same PH as your old, and that the other variables are the same.

Keep the freshly transplanted further away from the light and make sure that the older, smaller, root ball is fully saturated after the transplant is done. Just common sense.

Kali Mist is a strain that must be put into flower early or it will overgrow your room, I've put them in flower at 3" and have had 3' plants. Smaller indicas may not stretch much in flower and must be vegged to near desired finished height, so the process is strain dependant.

You're at your 7th node, seems thick stemmed and leaves so probably indica dominant - what strain?

The autos will flower fine but the yield will be decreased and flower time increased. Less energy per day means less production, simple math but not linear.

Don't worry about it, just throw them in. I ran my flower garden on 6 light / 18 dark this summer to cut down on heat, and to see what would happen. I've also ran autos on 12/12. No big deal, just what we'd expect for less energy into a system.

LOL!

You're right.

I just did a bag of Jack The Ripper that I clipped last night and baked at 106 C for 40 minutes. Last time I ran this strain it was weak but I am fucked. I'm revegging that plant and keeping a mother.

What were we talking about?

wyteberrywidow it actually was Jack The Ripper, that's how fucked up I was.

I clipped enough to get 7 x 1/3 teaspoon bowls for my Volcano and I was gone for 30-60 minutes each time. I don't even remember seeing your post let alone reading it, or if I was writing anything concerning Jimmy's question. I wouldn't have remembered the post except it came up in mythreads.

Just fantastic bud. Here's a review written by one of the people I give bud to. The last batch of JTR, from the mother of this clone, were not nearly as strong after curing. I ran it on 6 hours light / 18 hours dark for the summer to cut down on heat, it's taken an extra month or more. Very nice regardless of the reason, I'm revegging this one for a mother.

"Does she grow tall?"

My pheno has been slow growing on the stem in veg. I flower LST and there's not a lot of stretch in the branches. This one is about 12"-14" from the bucket rim.
