You shouldn't talk about things you don't know anything about. Do you remember anything from high school biology? If you do you will realize that what you are saying is impossible. Hydroponics using "synthetic" nutes has been around longer than 40 years. It's the lab standard for growing plants in a laboratory setting. Botanists say you are wrong.

What you are doing is spreading mis-information. And that is as bas as the people who say things like smoking one joint is the same as smoking 20 cigarettes.

Even so there is still the cost of space, electricity, etc. Even outdoor has it's costs. I can tell you that on the east coast you'll pay $375+ for an ounce of quality meds. If you have the ability to pay $200 an ounce then consider yourself extremely lucky. Having said that, MJ just needs to be legalized - period. Once that happens and big business gets involved the prices will come down dramatically.

I have an outdoor grow. Ive spent maybe $10 total growing it. Of course thats for personal use but damn dude times that by 10 and you still only spend $100 for 60 plants. Selling one ounce for 100 bucks reimburses you. Everything after that is pure profit.

its not pure profit, some one had to work hard and take risk 2 grow that shit, be thankful.

I don't mean to single you out. I know I have replied to a couple of your posts recently and I don't want you to think I am hatin on you or anything like that.

But I will repost what I said on the first page...

Legality or regulation will likely (IMO) lower the price.

hhey hey i never said that shit... hey if ur sick and ur using weed for the right reasons then cool.. but 90 percent of the medical patients are using it recreationaly ........ the other 10 percent.... should get cheaper meds.. and shit. but the quality.. wont be there....... or it wont be as dense or something look at how other medicine is used.. if u dont have the money for it .... u dont get the medicine and u end up dieing! why should weed be any different?

shit i got off my sleep meds... and anxiety meds ... and started smoking weed again.. and now i feel better then ever.. but my tolerance is high now.. so i have a friend of mine.. who i gave all my clones and plants too wen i shut down my op.. and every 2 months i get 8 ozs.

if ur a med patient.. and cant physically grow.. then find a patient.. that can grow but doesnt have the equipment.. money or room.. and find a decent partner that realizes its not about money just weed so no1 should get fucked over

well it dangerous TODAY im sadend buy my competitors death shot in the head after a delivery he came home and found dead at his property from what i hear he grew some top self shit... my respects go out to this man today i reevaluate my life i have fought my way out of alot of shit and i remember how easy it is to get shot... wow i sad... not for me just kinda needed him around no need for death.... Old thread I know but I remember this,and I joined his delivery service only a week or so before he got stabbed. He was a really chill dude with great product and compassion. He sold shake oz's for $60. He also had body guards come with him to the deliverys. DHS people don't give a shit about other human life. I'm glad i don't live there anymore.

^^ This is one of the reasons against cheap ounces. Yes, it's not expensive to grow compared to the price you get even at lower levels... but you take a HUGE risk... risk of the feds busting down your doors, risk of local overzealous PD busting in and holding a gun to your head and taking your plants, or straight up getting robbed/shot like the example above. Even if none of that shit happens to you, you spend a good amount of time stressing and worrying and trying to prevent it from happening. So I'm sorry, F the people who say higher prices are rip offs. Yeah, 1 in 100 are too sick to grow their own medicine. The rest just don't plain want to. Microgrowers on this site pulling out nice yields -- if you say you can only grow a tiny amount for yourself I'm calling bullshit and saying you chose to only grow that much. If you really want to grow your own supply even in limited spaces you can make it happen. If you can't and you expect others to do it for you, don't bitch if you have to pay for it. DO bitch if the quality is shit, because there is definitely a lot of overpriced flowers out there. I think it's great when people help others with free/low cost flowers (I do my best to spread the love, give out free cuts, etc), but it's not anyone else's job to be a slave for you. I'm spending my whole weekend trimming flowers this weekend... I'm definitely not doing that to be lowballed. This risk isn't worth minimum wage. The rewards from growing for yourself or someone else truly in need are great. The reward for spending significant chunks of your life growing for others and taking risks should be financially worth it to justify everything else.
