I have a ? About force flowering ?

hey hows it going all. real quick ? for ya. i have had my plant indoors on a 18 to 6 light schedule. so can i just put some outside at this time of the year which is june 11th, to force them and get rid of the males.Then put them back indoors once i know?I always thought it was the time of the year that makes them flower sort of.

12/12 lighting is what put plants into flowering. If I understand what you are saying, you want to make the plants flower (I don't think putting them outside would make them flower, it's only June.) And after you make them flower, you want to veg them more.. I've never done this, but personally I wouldn't. How long have your plants been going? Get some feminized seeds to avoid this situation.

You don't want to put them into 12/12 then separate the males from the females? If you still want to grow them under 18/6 you will have to wait till the plants preflower then you can put them under 12/12. How old are your plants anyway?

putting your plants outside won't force them. longer dark periods will. but since the males will flower first anyway just keep them inside. and pull the males as they bloom.
