I have a Vander "1000" and a "1500", they work well at close ranges. Good spectrum and very low heat rise. The 1K only uses about 140 watts and the 1.5K runs about 250 W. Footprint for flower is an issue as they have a very short field intensity. I'm running the 1K at about 10" for a 1.5X1.7 ft print. The 1500 I run at about 10-12 inches on 2X2ft.
I wish I had sprung for two of the "1500" for my closet.
I plan to use the 1K for veg and the1.5K for flower in a perpetual four/six plant grow, so I think it will work out. I have a 50 watt panel in my seedling tub.
More Light is always good, better if it is PAR spectrum as much as possible but white lights work too.Space and wire management is the tricky part.

White light works great.
Your going to need to add something because it would take at least 4 of those vanders to light up a 4x4.

What did you pay for it? What do the flood lights cost and what is the wattage of them?

Edit, to answer the question, YES you can add them.

I’d deff go closer for sure throw I have a 1000watt hps 11 inches from my canopy. I also got a crazy cooling system for the light so not suggesting others do this but if I can pull that off u can prob go closer with your full spectrum.... in my opinion.

if those Vander lights are only 140 Watts at the draw and you have a 4x4 grow tent then you actually putting out 8.75 Watts per square foot. Ideally you want 50 Watts per square foot with those types of lights. So you would need 5 or 6 more of those lights to grow a decent crop or add a whole bunch of LED-CFL lights to compensate. You see, that is why it doesn't pay to get one of those cheep light fixtures. They LIE to you in the specs. If you actually want to save money look into getting a HGL board. They may cost a little more up front but they are VERY efficient and will last for years and years to come.

The flood lights are 20 for 4. Ther 85 watts a peice and actual watt use ise 15 watts 1000 Lumineers

If your going to grow in the whole 4ft x 4ft space dude then your going to need 50w (real actual power) per square foot of cheap lighting. Or 30w per square foot of really efficient LED. Otherwise your going to have some fluffy airy buds come flower time.
