Those little bastards got into my grow. I can't believe it since i'm all indoor DWC. I caught them early but it still pisses me off. There's plenty of sh#t to eat outside so dammit stay outside!

Do you happen to have pics? I read threads all the time on RIU about spider mite infestations but no one ever posts pics. Reading about symptomatic plants is one thing an actually seeing the results of spider mites is another.

google it.

but it looks like someone put out millions of tiny cigarettes all over your fan leaves, and if you don't see webs, mist and you'll see webs between nodes, and wrapping around buds.

These are the solutions I've personally tried..

Alcohol/Water solution
Soap/Water solution
Ortho Max Plant/Flower/Vegtable safe solution
Pyrethrum PR 1800 fogger

All of the methods I have tried killed the mature mites, but not the eggs.. I used the fogger lastnight expecting spectacular results, I checked this morning an the fuckers were still alive, so I assume the eggs are also. I ordered some Lady Bugs and some Neem Oil, I've also been misting my plants regularly since mites only enjoy dry climates, hopefully I can drown or scare some of them off this way, but they are really starting to destroy my plants, luckily they are only week 3 of flowering. Hopefully you have better luck gettin rid of yours!

Neem oil has worked for me. I like Einstien myself. I have mixed it with hot water and let it cool to warm and spray it on the plants. You can put a drop of gentle dish soap for a wetting agent.

Thanks for all the replies. Everyone hates those things! I used my Safer insecticide spray with chrysanthemum oil. It did clear up the bugs but still got a boatload of eggs on it. I could kill myself for not noticing them earlier. I spent all day yesterday lying on the floor under my plants and mushing and cleaning all those bugs off of the leaves. Also Avid is an excellent insecticide, however from what i've read it can be deadly poisonous. Something abt how the spray stays within the plant. Its mostly jst for plants that are non edible. Either way thanks for all the support. Peace.

I say foggers. Not sure of the pants that people say neem or the like, but mine tend to be rather bushy. And to spray/wipe down all of them is near impossible.
Tweak I like is to pop off the fogger nozzle and install a standard nozzle so I can spray as I like then use again later.

Pyrethrum fogger. Cost like $24 but worth it! Lasted for 2+ grows, So that $12 a grow, not so bad.

Neem oil is good if you catch them soon enough and aren't too far into flowering , be careful becuase too much can cause your leaves to get sunburned. Not sure if this was mentioned before-- Im new here, consider that spider mites sleep and breed in the dirt. To get the little bastards while sleep and bone-- and their eggs, get some beneficial nematodes. They live the soil and love munch on spider mites. I prefer ladybugs and you can also get something called a spider mite destroyer-- they are the spider mites nemesis, order em online.
