So, I had 14 beautiful seedlings ready to plant this upcoming weekend.
3 Blue Dream
3 Northern Lights
1 707 Headband
1 Purple Haze
1 Blue Cheese Auto
3 Lowryder Auto
1 Chronic Ryder Auto
1 Baby Boom Auto
This was going to be my first larger outdoor grow. I started 7 seedlings last year and ended up with 1 plant after the deer ate the rest. My one plant was attacked by fungus at the end of the season, and I was left with about 1/2 oz of poor quality smoke. I was hoping this year would be different. I prepped my spots, bought chicken wire to keep the deer away and fungicide to spray.
I had my seedlings outside, soaking up the sun.
This afternoon I came home from work to discover that my fucking dog decided to have a playdate with my plants, shredding them into a million pieces and scattering them across the yard. From my 14, I am left with only 4. I now have 2 Lowryder Auto and 2 Mystery seedlings that my dog somehow managed to pull the marker with the name out of the pot, but the plant is still intact.
I'm pretty devastated. Not only is my broke ass out the cost of the seeds, but also went through the hassle/risk of ordering seeds online for nothing! And I was really looking forward to growing the Blue Dream and Northern Lights. No more seeds for those strains though
Here's my question. For an outdoor grow in Zone 7a in the US (First freeze date is typically October 15th), do I have time to start some more photo seedlings? I've got a Cheese, Lemon Kush Headband, Master Kush, and a Citrus Super Haze I could grow....Or do you all recommend just starting some more auto seedlings at this point?
Hoping some of you experienced growers can give a little advice. Thanks! (And sorry for the rant, but I'm still fuming right now.)
