I hate loving hating being high

I remember the first time smoking... I was so fucking high that I saw the world moving like in a slow motion strobe light fashion. Does that even make sense? It took me waaaay to long to make a sandwich. I was so unaware of what I was experiencing that I didn't even feel nervous around my parents. I "was tired" as far as I told them. I took a long shower and knocked out.

After that, it was a wrap. I remember my friends and I reasoning that "well it doesn't seem that bad. As long as we're not getting high all the time like on a school night on a random Wednesday, what's the big deal?"

Two weeks later, we were high all the time. I loved it. I have no clue that there were different kinds of weed with different highs and profiles and all that jazz. There was good weed, shitty weed, and great weed. I loved all weed.

Side note: we are from the Chicago land area. Back when I started smoking I was a sophomore in high school. It was around 2003-2004. Most people in highly populated areas smoked regs (brick weed). The beautiful type of pot seen here was rare.

Let me get to a point... For 4 years straight, there was no such thing as a bad high. There was never a wrong time. It was always enjoyable.

Eventually I ran into legal troubles and was on probation for 2 years. Since I finished my probation period, I've started smoking again, but it's never been the same. More than half the time I smoke, I end up feeling uneasy/paranoid/anxious...

Had anyone else had this happen? Were you ever able to get back to the carefree days of getting high?

It's weird though. I can get high as adelles blood pressure on edibles and love it, but then if a smoke, even a one hitter can bring on the negative feelings

Things changed, it sux.
Still get anxious.
I look for low thc indicas and take 1 small hit and ride out the unpleasantness.

It is what it is hoe!

My advice is never stop.
I was fine until the three year or so break.

I smoked yesterday after a loooong break.
I did it on my private property in the woods where I,m
comfortable. Mowed my lawn, cleaned the shed and a bunch of other shit.
Fuck 5 hour energy. Weed!

I think if I don't have a mission to focus on its harder.
Also being locked in my house with no outlet for the energy or in public are no good

For me out in the woods on a sunny day tinkering is the best setting.

I resisted the urge to hit it again later in the day.

But for 1 hit I got shit done.

How long was your break 2 minutes? How was it smoking again

If you're smoking the high grade MJ, with all the cross breeding it has caused a lower amount of CBD and higher THC levels. that's the chemical that keeps you calm and relaxed with minimal paranoia.
