Maybe the guy honestly meant if you buy a gram for 20$ he'll hook it up with 1.5 grams but only if you buy 1 gram not applying his deal to anything like a 1/4 cause really getting 5 grams for 100 could equal 5 grams(20$ per) he might have been confused...I would've been.

Meh, I've had a problem lately.. Not with weight, but quality. People claim it's good and it's.. well, not so good.. Lol. I'd confront the guy by asking what the bag was suppose to weigh, and than stating what it does weigh. Then ask what the deal was with him saying he'd give you 1.5 grams for TEN bucks.. My guess is he's just a middleman trying to get some smoke for himself lieing his ass off about how he can get you the fattest sacks.. I've had people at my work tell me similar stories.

IMO bitching over a gram isn't petty, if the dudes talkin all that shit hyping it up than it'd better be what he's saying or he wasted your time with his bullshit. Some of us only are able to afford grams or two at a time, and don't have the luxury of paying 60 dollars for a half ounce so yeah.. The best deals do matter, this dude says he was going to hook it up and he failed.

Thats what I was thinking. The sales pitch seems kinda like a fine print type of deal. Only applies when buying certain amounts of something or along those lines. The OP and dealer had a misunderstanding and this situation happened.

Yeah, I agree there are 3 scenarios.

1) Misunderstanding, confusion, whatever..

2) Dudes bored at work talking shit about how he 'grows bud' and can get the hook up.

3) The least likely, dudes a grower. Hooks up 1.5 grams for 10 bucks, you found the hook up..

were you clear that the dealer was the one who proposed the idea of buying 1.5 EACH a gram instead of buying a quarter o?

1.5 x 5 = 7.5

quarter o = 7

both would be the same price.

Yea man I duno I've been fucking with the expensive stuff for my whole smoking career. If I go for the regs, I will be an unhappy stoner. I know theres brick from Canada that comes down.. 150-200 an ounce, but IMO the 300 dollar shit has double the crystals at least and is worth it... I went to North Dakota and kids there are paying 60-80 dollars for 3.5 grams of NASTY buds... Sad story.

yea every state/city hell even neighborhoods have such a drastic range in price/quality its really anyones guess what shit sells for. Hell, even the same dope in the same city can be 50% higher from one week to the next.. Thats the reason I decided to just grow my own.. Havent had a harvest yet because of alot of issues but dammit i will one day lol.
