I hate College Algebra

Ive learned that if your just trying to get by with some college lvl math classes is to just treat the math as, "It is what it is" You maybe questioning:How will I use this in the future? Just get the formulas down and how to use them and other classes will slowly apply them. It all comes together in the end, in a sense. bongsmilie

Buy a ti-89. That thing will do everything you'd ever need to do in a math class (up to calculus). In any case, I hope you're not a business major...if you are you'll hate math even more. You'll still have to do 3-4 more levels of math to graduate. In reality level 100 college algebra is nothing more than 8th grade to freshmen year math. It's just very condensed. When it comes down to it math isn't all that hard. It just comes down to following rules and procedures (and knowing those things) and then their are always a few special exceptions to those rule and all you really need to do is identify those and solve the problem accordingly.
