You need to be more specific about what type of lights they are! You can leave the lights on 24-7 while they are in veg phase, then switch to 12-12 for flowering.
Start by reading the Grow-facts (FAQ) and the "Newbie Central" forum.

I have a T5 .. i have 2 3000 k and 2 6500 k bulbs

for vegeatiation .. is it alright if i have both of it mixed .. and let the lights be on 24/7 ... or is it better to do 12/12 ?

get em bout 2"-3" from plant tops and you should only have to use the one 6500k unless u have them as mixed fixtures. then use two when theyre bigger. 24/7 is okay at first but most ppl veg at 18/6.

blue and red t5'? are they working? how long have you been using them?Just curious, never heard of it.

Vegitation is always more than 12. Usually it's 18 hours on and 6 off. Some do well with 24hours on too. only go to 12/12 when ready to flower.

first off for veg you want your lights on at 16-18 hours a day , dont go 24/7 its not natural and for your lights only use 6500k nothing under say 4200k , when u start sexing your plants which means your starting to flower (anywhere from 9weeks to 4months depending on lights nutes ph etc..)use lights with the red spectrum like 2700k and then the lights go to 12/12

Dude, don't listen to the last post, that guy's an idiot for saying, "dont go 24/7, it's not natural" first off, immatation light is NOT natural, so if you wanna go natural, you better grow outdoor's. Indoor grow's, you get to control your atmosphere and figure out which way work's best for you. If you want to speed up the process, I HIGHLY recommend using 24/7 light, it work's well. I honestly can't believe that guy said that 24/7 is NOT "natural"..all's we can do is try to immatate natural habitat's/surrounding's..lmfao..good one though donkey, good one!!!

Veg a Red Deisel 24/7 then switch to 12/12. 8 out 10 will hermi on you. But for the most part 24/7 is ok. I do suggest you drop back to 12/12 in stages, 24/7 to18/6 for a week or so then 12/12. Or you can even reduce the light period 3 hrs a week until you reach 12/12. Way less stress on your plants. Also I would use your 6500k for veg. Then when you start to shorten the light period add one of your 3500k. At 12/12 switch them both to 3500k. The last 2 weeks or so of flowering add one of the 6500k again. Good Luck!
