I am having a constant battle to ph my veg solution using gh three part, tapwater, and hardwater micro. In a single day it is back to 6.5 after a nice 5.8. For flower, tho, all I day is top off with 5.8 and it is ok permantly.
So I was reading around and looking at charts and picking my brain trying to figure out why. Then it hit me. The plant only loses P really at the higher ph! So this is why my plants while out of range are looking ok in veg. They are getting what they need!
I added some acid to flower and it stays fine. When and where the P is needed.
Maybe the buffering they brag of works like this. Maybe the extra P ferts bring it down just right, but this calculated.
They are also dead on for needing 2 ml a gallon of ph down to correct ph.
Kinda cool, kind of annoying. I am going to let my ph run in the veg tent for a while. I am sick of using so much ph down every day. Cant be that good.
