Speaking of colors.
Yellow and blue make green.

Has anyone noticed how some colors of weed vary from a more yellow green and some are a more blue green.
Then of course some color variance in between

I have always said that.
People would think I was crazy.

Hortilux lamps will hang onto their lumen output longer than other brands too. Just a well-built lamp aimed at growin' weeds...

I wonder how those new lamps will perform in the digis, abud? I think I'll stick to the regular EN's for a bit and see what experience folks have with 'em. Like the Daylight MH's/6500K...they sure are pricey.

I hope you are not responsible for this abud!

Because it's an electronic ballast, it will fire hps, MH, or conversion lamps so the versatility is definitely there to use hps all the way through..or switch to something else.

watching these ballasts fire these lamps is way cool. They simply come on... and within less than a minute they are rockin'.

We're not talking about regular ballasts. We're talking about the way the electronic Lumasteks fire the lamps and offer more enhanced spectrum from the same lamp.

I'm confused. Is a ballast a type of light and are you saying you switched away from ballast to another?

And if so, what is the main benefit of this new light you like over previous?

What is the power bill per month for an indoor grow like this with maybe six pots and is it possible to find a good light like this light sufficient for that size grow?

After reading further I think I have my answers. I would love to do an indoor grow but it sounds like my power bill would increase at least $50 a month.. does that sound about right? And, I'd have to invest at least $200 in the light system alone and that doesn't include all the supporting equipment, even Co2, right? I'm probably really low balling those numbers anyway.
