Ok they came in without a warrant... but you say they found nothing.. how's it a bust then? and how do you lose your car ,truck and house in the instance of the cps coming and NOT finding anything? what am I missing?

True, they had to have found something an lawyer got it thrown out... possibly the weed leaves in bags he said was left behind and the lighting made them make the arrest for something rather than walking away?

I must also opine that for someone with that sort of income and lifestyle to suddenly start growing mass quantities of weed is ... incongruous at least. Smells of either "economic death wish" or ... "still steaming from where the bull dropped it". Jmo. cn

Can any of you read and COMPREHEND? At no time did I say that MY GF was my lawyer. I said that she IS a lawyer. Not one in the same. This is almost pointless.

The cops don't need a GD thing to come and blow your world up. Period. The End. They can damn well do as they please with little to no evidence. Forget probable cause. They convinced a Judge to issue a search warrant AFTER they had already searched the house. I learned a lesson. Be prepared. And even then it will still cost you everything! GUARANTEED.

This was my 2nd hydro grow. I've grown in soil many times several years back. I think 90% of you missed the point. Mine is a cautionary tale. Dismiss it as bullshit if you want. I had heard similar stories here and in person from peole I knew and I was always skeptical and said the same. No way they did that. There has to be more to the story. They can't arrest you if they don't find something blah blah blah. WELL... guess what. They damn sure can and they did.

I just hope if any of you are faced with this that you do NOT consent to a search. At that point the exclusionary rule will NOT apply and everything will be admissible. When you get out of jail on bond you'll need to beg/borrow/steal from anyone you know to raise upwards of $10k to get a good attorney. And then he can only work with what he is given. If you consent or cannot keep your mouth shut he will have crap to work with.

That was a typo on my part. She has represented me on a child support issue in the past. That was how we first met.

Having grown up in Georgia I can attest to the fact that having a joint there is damn near a hanging offense. The pigs there are horrible and will do anything they like; fuck the law; fuck justice; fuck what's right; they are above the law, the cocksuckers. I'm glad you're out and not having to serve time but that sucks balls that you lost everything. I hope you butt fuck them and make them squeal like the pigs they are. Getting out of the state and not leaving a forwarding address would be a good move if you haven't.

The ssaddest part of this whole situation is that I was getting ready to make another run an had invested about $5k in a split a/c system, ALL the House & Garden nutes for a full run, a 1/2hp water chiller, Big Foot flood drain table, hydration, etc... It was all unopened in the garage except the a/c unit that got installed about 5 days prior!
